Audio Recording Tips
Use Audacity to record your audio.
Test out the equipment before you start.
Here are some recordings. Which wave form looks okay?
OK
Mic is too sensitive/too close to the speaker
Mic is not sensitive enough/too far from the speaker
You can adjust the mic level on the toolbar.
Ignore the computer once you get started with your actual dialogue.
Edit out the beginning and end part of your recording if need be by highlighting the unneeded
audio and pressing the delete key on the keyboard.
When you are done, export your audio as a WAV or MP3. Save with a file name that includes
your login name.
