Norwegian Night For many years this Club has celebrated this
Danish Lenten tradition and this year we are
June 19 North Shelter making it better than ever! Think Mardi Gras
Highbanks Metro Park and wearing costumes (as for Halloween).
Midsummer Picnic
Candy, games and fun for all – especially
children!
We must have reservations
before Feb 22. We will have door prizes and
a “Costume Parade” with prizes for:
• best Adult costume
Dinner Guest Prices: • best Child’s costume
Adult $15 • best “group” costume
Students, 17 yr. + $6
Child to age 16 $5 Highlight of the evening will be
All Children 6 & under: FREE “slå Katten af tønden”
(break the cat from the barrel)
You can contact our
Treasurer directly: There will be crafts and candy from
Harry Wickstrom the barrel. Then much like a piñata, all
the children will take turns hitting the
614-885-9392 barrel until it shatters…and they all
scramble for the goodies!
We will be crowning a King and
Scandinavian Club Queen of Fastelavn and enjoy some
great Danish food, along with birthday
of Columbus cake for the club!

years of fun, friendship and the sharing of our heritage!
