You will be watching a movie called “30 days: Living on Minimum Wage” which shows
how hard living on Minimum Wage in our country and how your job impacts your
quality of life, the community you live in and your family.
You will be taking notes throughout the movie and listing specific ways working a
minimum wage job impacts the healthy of the individual worker, their
family and the community you live in. I have listed some questions for you to
think about that will help you write your reaction paper.
Using your notes from the movie write a 1 ½ to 2 page response, single spaced, 5
paragraphs, describing how having a minimum wage job impacts the health of the
individual, community, and the family. Be sure to use at least 6 SPECIFIC examples
you saw in the movie to describe its impact. **Underline your 6 specific examples
in your paper.
1st paragraph-Intro- Explain how minimum wage impacts so many parts
of a person’s life (individual, community, family).
2nd paragraph – Discuss how living on minimum wage impacts an
individual (give 2 examples)
3rd paragraph – Discuss how living on minimum wage impacts a
