NEW DESIGN + FACEBOOK CONNECT of
Spefex 1.0
Project: Prediction Market
Based on: PHP, MySQL, CronJobs
For a fully functional prediction market software a new design and layout for fast navigation and easy
playing is needed. For a fast start of playing we need a facebook connect. You see the program on
www.spefex.com . You can register an account and play.
Provided for development purposes under my terms:
‐ For getting to know the program I will set up a test market. You can register an account and
check the program.

‐ Installation guide
‐ Webserver for testing
‐ Mockups in this document
‐ Basic CSS File (is adapted by you for the design)
‐ Skype and Email contact for questions (daily)
Requirements you provide / Yours tasks:
+ new design according to mockups (Mockups are not the final design und just show the position of
elements of the websites)
Procedure: You will suggest a design according to the mockups and I will come up with a change
request with iterations if necessary or confirm immediately.
+ change charts to free Fusioncharts (fusioncharts.com)
+ small code changes according to mockup content : mainly adding comments, explanation texts and
a picture to markets, stocks (uploaded in admin) and users (uploaded by user or from facebook)
+ facebook Connect + photo (same as facebook profile photo size)
+ languages of all texts are already in 2 language files for English or German – changes should be
made there for the content
+ it should be possible to change colours in the CSS file
+ Installation of 2 prediction markets on 2 subdomains of spefex.com or other 2 domains and
webhosts I provide
+ change our installation readme file if necessary
Cooperation process:
+ I expect a daily report of the work that is completed and tested by you or the project manager of
your team. This work I will review and give a daily feedback. Only for the feedback for graphic design
it could be longer. That’s why I add this time to the time frame.
Specific expertise/background that I am seeking:
PHP, MySQL, Facebook Connect, Webdesign
Time frame for delivery: 14 days (2 weeks including weekends)
+ time for my responses regarding change requests of the design
Terms:
1) You will do all necessary changes on my server.
2) All the project information, source code and project material of Spefex you get from me is
strictly confidential. You are not allowed to show anything of and about this project to any
third parties or tell third parties about this project. It is prohibited to use anything from my
original source code or the source code you develop for me for other clients or for your own
projects.
3) You develop this project exclusively for me. All rights on the code and design you develop for
me are surrogated to me after my payment. Used open source code snippets are excluded.
4) After the product is tested and confirmed by me you provide 1 week free support if any bugs
occur.
5) The time frame for the project is 14 days (2 weeks including weekends) + time for my
responses regarding change requests of the design
6) For every week of delay I subtract 20% of the price fixed on elance.
7) We agree on daily reports and daily feedback (not later than 24 hours after the report).
8) The full payment will be done after the project is finished and confirmed by me by Escrow
Payment.
9) By bidding on the project you accept these terms and the project description as a contract.
Mockups:
Now, when a user is not logged in, he does not see the markets. We will change that. Also Users that
are not logged in can see the markets already.
The header section with

We will leave it mainly as it is. We will add the facebook connect button. After log in, the
money and stock value is not shown any more in the header as it is shown in every market.

Markets
Here we need comments and on the right side under the portfolio a picture. These two features have
to be added in the admin.
? …means an explanation text that is opened in a new window (should be possible in our 2 laguages
English and German and implemented in the language management)
Blue text… is linked
Besides the name of the comment writer you see a picture. That picture is taken from facebook or
the user page (has to be added – is not there yet).
Trading Screen
This is the screen for buying and selling. It opens in an overlay. At first only like it is shown on the left
side. If somebody selects more options then the window gets bigger.
Single Stock
Here is the overview of a single stock if you select it. Here we also have to add a picture you see on
the right side.
Portfolio
Here we see the portfolios in the different markets in an overview. “Avg. paid” is new. It’s the
average price a player paid for a certain share package per share.
Ranking
The ranking of the users with picture, name, portfolio value and rank.
After 100 users is a break and by clicking an 2, 3, 4 .. you get the the other users.
Transactions of stocks – now called Trade History
Cash transactions – new
Bank history is new. It shows all cash transactions.
