R.U.L.E. [Explicit]

Best Ja Rule Album Since Vvv And Rule 3:36

After the dust clears up in the 50 Cent beef, Ja finds himself coping with

alot of haters. I think this is because of the release of the just plain stupid

Blood In My Eye CD. On this CD Ja doesn't really take shots at anyone,

and goes back to the RNB side of himself, not necessarily a bad thing, but

it's not really consistent with the image he tried to make people think of him

as on the Blood in My Eye album. That is really my only critisism of this

wonderful album.

Track for Track

"The Inc Intro" Is sort of annoying but nonetheless vital as he tells us a bit

about his life.

"The Last Of The Mohicans" Is a great way to start off the album, a hard

core rap by Ja Rule, and a cunning and dangerous beat make this a killer

of a song, it features Black Child, who makes the chorus quite memorable.

"Wonderful" features R. Kelly who sings the chorus and a verse, but really

for me this song is awesome because of Ja Rule, he sings two memorable

verses, that really are deep, saying how if he didn't have all this money that

woman probably wouldn't love him as much. R.Kelly's verse is sor t of

annoying, but the chorus is memorable. Ashanti's useless on this song.

"What's My Name" really more or less of a party song, Ashanti and Ja Rule

hook up good on the chorus, but hte lyrics are sort of pointless,

nonetheless it's a good song to get up and dance to, really sort of the song

that lifts ones spirits, and gets them in the partay mood.

"New York" fabulous song, the reason the i bought this album was this

song. Ja sings the chorus wonderfully but unfortunately he only does it

once, but guest appearences by Fat Joe and Jadakiss only make this song

better. This is one of the most underated songs of 2004 and 2005,

everyone i know hums this still today, and it never even one an award, a

real gangsta song with a memorable hook.

"Stripping Game" is a pointless skit

"The Manuel" laid back RNB track, don't care too much for it, but Ja's

decent in it

"Get It Started" really sucks, the woman who sings in it is terrible, and Ja

isn't all that good, just another party song, but even for a party song i t's

pretty lame.

"R.U.L.E." Is a really deep track with a memorable chorus, and amazing

rhyming by Ja in the verses, but unfortunately has a terrible beat to it. But

Ja compensates for that with amazing rhyming in the verses, and he really

has that hunger in him in this song.

"True Story" This skit is so damn pointless i almost fell out of my chair

laughing, here are the lyrics: True F*cking story, i swear on my mothers

ice, The greatest f*cking comeback ever, F*cking bottom of the ninth right,

three balls two strikes, two outs, bases all loaded, Widy herdes is on the

mount or i dont know, some f*cking kid, this f*cking kid comes up, i f*cking

put my drink down, f*cking look up, the f*cking ball goes over the green

monster, what im telling you i swear on my mothers ice, true f*cking story

"Caught Up" Is a great guess appearence by Lloyd, who sings a good

chorus, Ja raps about breaking up in this one, pretty good song,

unfortunatly this song had potential but didn't go to far as far as success is

concerned, something tells me this could've been a bigger hit.

"Gun Talk" cool chorus, but then again it was songs like these that made

Blood In My eye such a bad record, Black Childd's good in this one though.

But Ja gets sort of annoying in this

"Never Thought" real intereseting song, with cool lyrics sort of a slow one.

About breaking up, sort of sounds like "Caught Up"

"Life Goes On" Ja, Trick, and Chink all give out their condolences to those

who died in their lives, a slow song, with solid verses from Ja and Trick,

and good inspirational messages from Chink

"Weed" pointless skit

"Where I'm From" a slow light song, with Ja and Lloyd talking about the

struggles of growing upin the ghetto, deep passionate lyrics in this one.

"Bout My Buisness" This song is really all Cadillac Tah and Black Child

exchanging verses with Young Merc doig a little bit on the chorus, and Ja

spitting the last verse, it's a lame attempt at a gangsta song, quite

skippable

"Passion" Awesome way to end the CD, real good slow RNB song, with

great lyrics

All in all this is a big step up from Blood In My Eye, Ja really showed how

much of a true pro he is putting this stupid beef with the steroid man snitch

(50 Cent) behind him, and applying himself to make the one of the best

albums of his career, i loved it and hope that he continues to make good

music.

check my review on Mike Jones' album as well, c ya
