The state of Mississippi just passed a number of incentives making it very attractive for production companies to film their movies or
TV shows in our great state, which means more jobs for local actors and this workshop is appropriate for the beginner or the
experienced actor. Participants will go through the paces of what it takes to nail an audition and work on the skills it takes to do the
job once you’ve booked it! Space in the workshop is limited to provide maximum attention to each individual. No experience
required, this a great workshop to create a solid foundation on which to begin working. Most recently, Rus played Cate Blanchett’s
husband in the feature film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Bradd Pitt. In addition to an extensive theatre resume’, some of
his other credits include Monster with Charlize Theron, Instinct with Anthony Hopkins, Dunsmore with Thalia Shire, W. Earl Brown
and Kadeem Hardison, and television projects like Law and Order, In the Heat of the Night, E.R., Party of Five, SeaQuest and Tom
Hank’s From Earth to the Moon. Rus has been coaching actors for over 18 years and currently teaches at the Actor’s School in
