History
The group had it’s origins in the very early 1970s. It was US Discography
formed by three brothers who at some stage called them-
selves The Vondors. They recorded a single for Bill Moss’ 7" Singles
Holiday records. Side A was a vocal and the B side was
• "Girl I Could Love You More" / "I Wish It Would
an instrumental. Through Moss’ connections with Bell

Records, there were two more singles released on the Bell
• "Dreams" / "Sister Rose" - EMI 2134 - 1974 [7]
label. They changed therir name to The Soul Partners and
they scored a local hit.

Still known as The Soul Partners they then decided on
a name change. In 1970 they were known as The Buckeye • "Ride On The Rhythm" / "Ride On The Rhythm"
