Pack 126 Father-Son Bake-Off – Jan. 27 – anyone attend? Nic and Noah attended – all had a good time
Los Fierros District Dinner – Jan. 31 – Lots of attendees, both scouters and scouts – thanks for all - congrats

2009 Friends of Scouting Presentation – today – Kim Lane, the Council Friends of Scouting Campaign Rep
gave us a Friends of Scouting presentation – for those not present, we will get the information to you
Finances –- Tina – current balance of $2334.41

o Pack 126 Webelos are bridging in Feb. – we need 5 scouts to attend the Blue and Gold Banquet on
Feb. 28 to bridge over 5 Cubs into our troop – limited to 5 people - Paul, Mike, Chad, Alex, and
Charlie
Rechartering Status – Jim – there are a still a few outstanding bills, he will resend statements as needed
The Josephine Gumbiner Foundation would like to help support Troop 126 – Brian Russell following up with a
proposal to the foundation
Scouter Transitions - possible candidates: Nancy Schwatrz for treasurer and Linda Frankforter for Charter
Rep
Eric Grentz Eagle Court of Honor – Planned for March? – Kevin may also be in March? – no update yet
Soaring – April 4 or 5 - details to follow

Adult Training – Scout Commissioner Training – March 7 – 8am to noon
Bear Mountain Merit Badge Day – March 14 – only 4 scouts signed up so far
Pancake Breakfast – March 22 – details to follow (work roster, etc) – need a shopper – Tina to check on date
with Church - Tina will get back to us on the date confirmation– update of work assignments and pre-
breakfast tasks will be sent out (also see below)
Spring Backpack – March 27-30 – destination is TBD
Camp Pendleton Campout – April 24-26 – Abe Flores
Spring Camporee – May 1-3 – at El Dorado Park – Troop 29 hosting
National Youth Leader Training –great training for scouts – two weekends – June 19-21 at WJR and June 26-
28 at Camp Tahquitz - will the committee be sponsoring 2 attendees this yr? – cost is ~$167/scout – all
parents at the committee meeting voted and it was approved to pay for the two scouts
Flag retirement ceremony – May 16
Relay for Life – June 5-6 – we are signed up as “Troop 126” with Rebecca as team captain
Scout-O-Rama – June 6 – we will put the maze up – theme is “Green” – we expect to have to rotate and
shuttle scouts between this and the Relay for Life event
Catalina Campout – (Tentative June 12-14) – reservation are complete
River rafting trip – Kern River – July 10-12 – there may be some merit badge requirements in order to attend
this outing
Broken Arrow backpack before the week at Tahquitz – July 29-Aug 2
SS Lane Victory Outing – Date is TBD - Mike J. or Brian R.
Archery Outing – TBD – Mike J

PANCAKE BREAKFAST – MARCH 22, 2009
We will have silent auction baskets this year
Each Patrol to supply a basket
Moose Patrol (parents) will contribute to a spa
basket
We will also have a 50/50 drawing
We will also have hash browns and eggs again
Rebecca is our hero she has volunteered to
work on the donation solicitations (ones that we
did not tap for the 60th anniversary event)
look into getting food donations/gift certificates
from Smart and Final and Vons for the breakfast
food supplies
Cookware and Task Assignments are being defined.
We still have many opening so please review the
excel spreadsheet to see where we still needed
help.
JoAnn has volunteered to assemble the Moose
basket, please get you donations for the basket to
her by Thur, March 19.
