New Peloton Project Member
Teleconference
Welcome to the Lance
Armstrong Foundation!
• The Lance Armstrong
Foundation (LAF) believes
that in the battle with cancer,
unity is strength, knowledge
is power and attitude is
everything.
• From the moment of
diagnosis we provide the
practical information and
tools cancer survivors need
to live strong.
• Today, there are more
than 10 million people in
the United States and
more than 25 million
people across the globe
living with cancer.
How do we help cancer
survivors live strong?
• We serve our mission through
three core program areas:
– Advocacy
– Public Health (which includes our
online resource for cancer
survivors)
– Research
That’s where you
come in…
• Peloton Project members make it
possible for the LAF to help
people with cancer and their
families live strong.
How does the Peloton
Project help?
• This year, more than 7,000 Peloton
Project members will raise funds and
awareness in their local communities
to support the LAF.
• As Lance is racing for his 7th Tour de
France win, the Peloton has been
challenged to raise $7 million through
our 7 for Survivors goal!
