Fee Free Use of Your PayCard
The program is designed to be fee free. You can get all of your pay every
Pay Period without a fee. Although fees may be charged, they are related to
choices you the cardholder make is the use of your PayCard.
FREE TRANSACTION: Every time you are paid your FIRST Choice of
one of the following transaction types will be FEE FREE: ATM or Post
Office money order or transfer to a bank account using
www.paychekplus.com
All store purchases are FEE FREE
All store purchases with cash bank are FEE FREE
Store purchases are always FEE FREE, however, if your first transaction
after a pay load is at Retain location (POS), it will use up your first free
transaction use of an ATM withdrawal, purchase of a U.S. Post Office
money order or ACH transaction from your card to a checking account.

An ATM may issue a decline and/or charge a fee for:
Check your balance
Asking for more cash than you have available on your card
Attempts to get cash before your pay has been placed on your
PayCard
Selecting “Savings” instead of “Checking” account
Entering the wrong PIN
Get Money from an ATM
Insert your PayCard
Enter your PIN
Select “Withdrawal from Checking”
Enter the amount of cash you want (Remember to allow for any surcharge
fee)
Take your cash, PayCard and receipt

Checking your balance at an ATM will cost $1.00
An ATM Decline will cost $1.25
Certain ATM owners charge a fee for the use of their machine

Select “No” for cash back (if it was offered)
Take your purchase, PayCard and receipt
A fee of $0.50 is charged when purchases are declined for attempts to spend
more than the balance on the PayCard

Swipe your PayCard
Select “Debit”
Enter your PIN number
Check the amount and enter “Ok”
Select “Yes” for cash back
Enter/Select the amount
Take your purchase, cash, PayCard and receipt

Select Credit
Check amount and hit “Yes” if it is correct

The use of the PayCard provides many benefits to participants and
contractors. The PayCard program is designed to provide a fee free method
for participants to obtain all of their pay. Below is an example of how a
participant might use the PayCard. All of the below transactions are
provided as an example and would be fee free to the participant.
Youth is provided a PayCard and instructions without fee
Youth is paid $200.00 onto the PayCard without fee
Youth checks PayCard balance via 800# without fee
Youth withdraws $60.00 from an ATM without fee
Youth uses the PayCard to buy lunch at McDonalds without fee
Youth uses the PayCard to buy a MetroCard without fee
Youth uses the PayCard to make a purchase at Walgreeens with $10 cash
back without fee
Youth checks PayCard to buy supplies at Staples without fee
Youth uses the PayCard to buy gum at CVS and obtains $15 cash back
without fee
Youth uses the PayCard to buy shoes at Payless Shoe and gets $20 without
fee
And so on……..
There are fees associated with using the PayCard, however there are many
ways to access all funds without incurring a fee. Please help us educate the
participants to use the card wisely.
There is one fee free transaction per pay period on your choice of ATMs,
Post Office money order, or web transfer to a bank account. Note that all
Point of Sale purchases are free, however the use of the Point of Sale
purchase will use up the first fee free transaction.
ATM terminals are privately owned and may have a fee charged by the
owner of the terminal. The following banks offer fee free use of their ATM
network:
