Supervising Supplier performance on the basis of delivery status & sampling, Quality Issues etc. by
conducting regular inspections.
Marketing and Merchandising
Interfacing with the Buyers to identify specifications for Garment.
Overseeing design & development of samples at Vendors’ end and obtain approvals from Buyers.
Liaising with Vendors for costing of garments in line with budgeted parameters.
Communicating specifications to Designers, Printers and Exporters and ensure manufacture as per
predefined norms.
Documentation & MIS
Conducting regular audits to ensure that materials received from vendors conform to pre-set quality
standards; analysing rejections and taking corrective actions.
Taking adequate measures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Monitoring MIS reports with a view to apprise top management of the routine trading activities viz. sales,
distribution management, stock control, etc.
