Having recently left my previous employer, I was looking for an edge in the
competitive marketplace. My outplacement service recommended this
book and I purchased it immediately. Once I started reading it, I couldn't
put it down, except to act on its advice. It is outstanding! It contains
information on how to make your resume stand out, networking techniques
that are not the norm, brandinding techniques, and much more. The best
part of the book for me, were the many techniques described to fully
leverage the internet tools out there such as LinkedIn, the job boards,
Google, etc. I learned valuable techniques with every turn of a page.
There were approaches and methods that I never knew about, and my out
source partner was not aware of. This is, by far, the best book I have ever
read on job hunting, and I am grateful that I was pointed into its direction.
