Every Day Is A New Day
Urban Diana Ross!
I absolutely love this album, I have been having it for a few years now and
finally got the nerve to speak my opinion on it. This is probarly one of
Diana's most overlooked albums she's ever made, I mean even though it's
rated really good, it's not associated with her albums from the 70s and
early 80s, but at least it's clear that this one is way better than anything
from her RCA and early 90s days. The album contains R&B, urban funk,
love ballads and some club music, throughout the album you'll notice the
tone for it is mostly R&B and urban funk, mostly urban funk. The first three
songs on the album,"Someone That You Loved Before" and if I remember
"Carry On" appeared in Diana's T.V. movie "Double Platinum" and even
though they appear in the movie they were not recorded for it. Overall each
song compliments each other and Diana is great especially on "Carry On".
This album is very fun, fresh, funky and free, so just remember "Every Day
Is A New Day".
