DIRECTIONS
To BRB from the Inn at Penn:
• Exit the hotel on the Walnut Street Side and make a left onto Walnut Street.
• At the traffic light make a right across Walnut Street onto 36th Street. This brick pathway is the
entrance to the campus.
• Follow the path until it ends at a traffic light, at 36th and Spruce Streets.
• Cross Spruce Street and continue straight on the walkway. (The Rhodes Pavilion of the Hospital
will be on your left and “The Quad” dormitories, a long brick building, will be on your right.)
• At the end of the walkway, turn right onto Hamilton Walk (the 36th Street walkway dead ends).
• Proceed down Hamilton Walk to the Johnson Pavilion which will be on your left.
• Enter Johnson Pavilion and then exit through the glass doors (you are walking straight through).
• Once you have exited Johnson Pavilion, bear to your right onto North Service Drive. Walk up the
Drive past the Nursing School, which will be on your left.
• Just past the Nursing School, you will see an opening and pathway to the left. Turn left and walk
along this pathway, then walk down the stairs. Curie Boulevard will now be in front of you.
• Bear to your right onto Curie Boulevard. BRB is the brick building in front of you to the right. The
entrance is up a short flight of stairs.
• To access the Auditorium, enter the building, walk past the guard desk, and turn left.
To BRB from the Sheraton University City:
• Exit the hotel from the main entrance on Chestnut Street and turn right.
• At the traffic light, make a left across Chestnut Street and onto 36th Street. Continue to walk
towards campus.
• At the next traffic light, continue straight across Walnut Street. You will see a brick pathway in
front of you, which is the entrance to the campus.
• Follow the path until it ends at a traffic light, at 36th and Spruce Streets.
• Cross Spruce Street and stay straight on the walkway. (The Rhodes Pavilion of the Hospital will
be on your left and “The Quad” dormitories, a long brick building, will be on your right.)
• At the end of the walkway, turn right onto Hamilton Walk (the 36th Street walkway dead ends).
• Proceed down Hamilton Walk to the Johnson Pavilion which will be on your left.
• Enter Johnson Pavilion and then exit through the glass doors (you are walking straight through).

From BRB to Houston Hall:
• Exit BRB from the Curie Boulevard side of the building. Cross Curie Boulevard and go up
the short flight of steps at the right of the Stellar-Chance Building (directly across from
BRB).
• Bear right on to North Service Drive until you see the glass doors leading to the
Johnson Pavilion on your left.
• Go through the Johnson Pavilion and exit through the glass doors on the other side.
• Turn right onto Hamilton Walk, and then make a quick left onto the 36 th Street walkway,
which leads out to 36th and Spruce Streets.
• Cross Spruce Street and turn right. Houston Hall is the second building on the left. Walk
up the front steps and enter through the big wooden doors.
From BRB to Abramson Research Center (ARC): The ARC is located directly behind the
BRB Building.
• Leave BRB via the revolving door exit next to Au Bon Pain (if you look straight ahead you
will see the ARC Building) and walk straight across the large stone plaza to the
Abramson Research Center building.
• Enter Abramson on your right. Turn left at the security desk and you will see the
conference room.
From The Sheraton to the Inn at Penn:
• Exit the hotel from the main entrance on Chestnut Street and turn right, crossing 36 th
street.
• At the traffic light turn left. Cross Chestnut Street, and walk one block down 36 th street to
Sansom Street.
• At the corner of 36th and Sansom Streets you will see the Institute of Contemporary Art
(ICA). Make a right at this corner and continue down Sansom Street past Urban
Outfitters, the Computer Connection, and Pod Restaurant.
• Right after you pass Pod restaurant you will see the circular drive and the entrance to the
Inn at Penn.
