AP US History Trip to The Henry Ford
Costs are per person. We will have a few extra seats available for parents on a first-come, first-serve

Itinerary:
May 7 (Saturday)
7:00 am - Leave from JMHS (there will be snacks available enroute. There is a food court at the
museum you might opt for upon arrival)
1:00 pm – Arrive at the Henry Ford Museum and tour the indoor museum through the

6:00 pm – dinner at the hotel
7:20 (optional) – IMAX movie [http://www.hfmgv.org/imax/index.aspx]
Stay at Best Western Greenfield Inn in Allen Park, MI

May 8 (Sunday)
8:00 am – Breakfast at Hotel
9:00 am – Greenfield Village (outdoor museum at the Henry Ford

(Lunch on your own)
3:00 pm – Board for home
5:00 pm – Eat at Ryan’s Steakhouse along the way
10:00 pm – arrive back at JMHS
Costs: $50 transportation (non-refundable due April 1)
$16 museum entry
$90 per room (sleeps 4 at $22.50 per person)
*$10 dinner at hotel
*$8 breakfast buffet at hotel
*$12 Ryan’s Steakhouse Buffet
*8 for movie
*8 to ride within Greenfield Village (incl. horse drawn carriage, Model-Ts, Train and Carousel)
Minimum cost is $78, but eating is highly recommended. Alternatives could be brown-bagging
your meals. Full participation is $125.
The transportation cost of $40 is needed ahead of time (April 1) and is non-refundable. The balance is due as we board.
