Three Option for setting up Zimbra
1. POP & SMTP
2. IMAP
3. Zimbra Connector
Option 1: POP & SMTP
1. Startup outlook, Go to File > Tools > E-mail Accounts
2. New window will show up as below
3. Choose View or change existing e-mail accounts, click on Next.
4. Highlight your mail account, and then click on Change.
5. Please enter as below image
6. Server Information are same for all users
- Incoming mail server (POP) : z.syscomusa.com
- Outgoing mail Server (SMTP): z.syscomusa.com
7. Login information & user information as your personal setting.
8. Click on “Test Account Setting” if no problem, click “Finish”
SMTPS & POPS – Secure Connection
Below setting are for users who wish to use “Encrypted Connection”
POPS Port: 995
SMTPS Port: 465
Choose SSL for SMTP Encryption
Important Note:
If you setup your email account outside, please noticed that you must check on “SMTP requires
Authentication and use same settings as my incoming mail server”. Otherwise, you will have problem
sending out messages.
Option 2: IMAP SETUP Manual
To Set Up IMAP in Microsoft Outlook
1. In Microsoft Outlook, from the E-mail Accounts menu, select Tools.
2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account, and then
click Next.
3. For your server type, IMAP, and then click Next.
4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP) window, enter your information as follows:
Your Name
Your first and last name.
E-mail Address
Your email address.
User Name
Your email address, again.
Password
Your email account password.
Incoming mail server (IMAP)
z.syscomusa.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
z.syscomusa.com

6. Click Finish.
Option 3: Zimbra Connector
1. Go to http://email.syscomusa.com
2. Download the “Zimbra Connector setup for Outlook 2003/2007”
3. Following the instruction as indicated in the manual
