Doctoral studies in France - Statistics
In 2009-2010, 41% of all doctoral candidates in French
universities were foreigners
12.4 % of all international students were enrolled at the
doctoral level
International doctoral candidates came from Africa (39%),
Asia (30%), Europe (21%) and the Americas (10%)
The most popular academic field was Science (41%)
