POSITION: COMPUTER OPERATOR
HOURS: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (Shifts Alternate Weekly)
8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
(Will be asked to work overtime when needed, occasionally Saturdays and fill in for
Night Operator during vacations)
STATUS: Regular Full Time
LOCATION: Main Office
RATE OF PAY: Salary D.O.E.
REPORTS TO: Anne Johnston
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Operates computer and peripheral equipment to process data by
performing the essential job duties on the attached job description.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Proficient in 10-key by touch, minimum of 150 spm (will be tested)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs preferred
Ability to work with specific or specialized computer software
Proficient in word processing and keyboarding, minimum of 40 wpm (will be tested)
Basic knowledge of Internet preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Windows
A.A. degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
