The art of the ramp driving with the skateboard is pulled up here for the
illustration energy as a physical state size. The Z boys and Girls have invented
vertical skating in Dogtown Los Angeles in the end of the 60s and at beginning
of the 70s. But where does the Skater take the energy to take off in the air?
With a ball you can easily illustrate like the position energy (Potential energy)
into kinetic energy (Kinetic energy) is converted. Because energy cannot be
generated, or can be destroyed, the ball cannot take off in the air. So that the
Skater can take off in the air, in contrast to the ball, he must go to the squat to
be able to win additional energy. And on the other side of the ramp he uses the
won energy, and with it he pushes himself in the weightlessness. The skater
float for split seconds in the air. And in one hour adds up by several seconds in
weightlessness. Energy is a physical state size.
