SCOTTISH GRAND NATIONAL
This years race sees me pick 5 against the field these runners are, two are runners that
ran well in this race last year.
GONE TO LUNCH - goes particulary well on this type of ground and if as trainer
says problems have been identified I am sure he can run a big race (finished 2nd here
last year
THEATRICAL MOMENT - I am sure will be popular today with Mr McCoy going
for the National double. Goes particulary well on this ground and if he stays has a
good chance.
OUT OF THE BLACK - another that goes well on this ground and with only a couple
of runs this season could well have been laid out for this (finished 3rd here last year).
Two outings at this distance have seen him finish 2nd and 3rd.
MA YAHAB - the way he runs on at the end of his races he is worth a shot at this
distance and is a big price for this race. Can run well after a recent race (1 to 7 days:
1146).
MERIGO - won the Eider Chase and is finally back over a trip today. Goes well at
this track: 3112, goes on the ground and should run a good race
In order of preference: Out of the Black, Merigo, Ma Yahab, Gone to Lunch and
Theatrical Moment.
