MULTIMEDIA
MAGAZINE COVER PROJECT
1. Use Microsoft Publisher to create a magazine cover.
2. Choose 1-3 words for the title of the magazine. Be original! Don’t use a magazine
name that is already in publication. Your title must be school appropriate. If you
are in doubt, ASK ME!
3. Be sure you follow ALL of the requirements listed below.
4. Be creative and make the finished product look as professional as possible.
5. Be sure to check off each requirement so you won’t lose any points.
6. The picture you use must be a picture you take. You may borrow a camera from
Mr. Shaw to take a picture at school, or you may bring in an image file from
home on a flash drive.
7. Use the background removal tool in Word or PowerPoint if needed to edit
pictures.
8. Use Google Images to search for magazine cover ideas. You may NOT simply edit
information from a cover you find on Google.
9. Be sure to stay within the blue outline that shows your margins. Anything
outside those lines will not print. You may change margin settings as needed.
10. Save your work as 08-Magazine.
