Oh Wow!
I loved this book!!!! It had a bit of a slower start but once I got past chapter
10 it started picking up. I put out a few threads on whether or not to keep
going and I got a some reassurance from a few others that said to stick
with it. Im so glad I did.
I found that I started to Hate Mr. X for who he was. Just seemed like a
sicko for thinking he was doing the humans a favor by taking out the
brotherhood when in fact its the exact opposite. Youll find out that none of
them harm women, well except for one of the brothers. Youll read more
about Z.
Beth was a woman I could relate to in many ways. She didnt take no
crap from Wrath or Butch but when they needed her she was there and
there for the brotherhood.
I found the names pretty cool for the Brotherhood. The names reminded
me of some in other books but still cool just the same. J.R. Ward writes it
all very well. Im surprised at the slang thats in it. And for some the slang
took away from the book but to me it added more character after all they
are in New York. The slang does continue on into at least book 2 thats
what Im on now. Took me four days to finish books one I breezed through
it once I got to where I couldnt put it down. I really enjoyed this book and
will read it again soon.
Please if your having trouble getting into the book at least give it to
Chapter 10 and then decide because I guarantee by then you wont be able
to put the book down.
