                                             Tentative Merchant Information

Hollydays is a three-day extravaganza featuring fine gifts, accessories and decorative items found around the country. As the
primary annual fundraiser for the Junior League of Baton Rouge, Hollydays provides over $225,000 each year for our
community projects.

Dates: The twenty-fifth annual Hollydays will be held October 15-18, 2008. TENTATIVE market hours will be:

        Sunday, October 12          *Time TBA                   Merchant move in.
        Monday, October 13          *Time TBA                   Merchant move in.
        Tuesday, October 14         *Time TBA                   Merchants move in.
        (Move in must be completed by Tuesday PM)

        Wednesday, October 15           7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Preview Party
        Thursday, October 16            9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Preferred Shopping
                                        11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Shopping
        Friday, October 17              9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Shopping
        Saturday, October 18            9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shopping
                                        5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Merchants move out
                                        *Subject to River Center negotiations

APPLICATION: The Application Emailed Confirmation Receipt must be returned to the Junior League no later than
March 21, 2008. Acceptance letters will be mailed out during the beginning of May 2008. We are required to work under
strict deadlines, therefore if we do not hear from you by March 21, we will assume that you are not interested in
participating.

MEDIA COVERAGE: Magazine, newspaper, radio and television advertisements, coupled with billboards, bumper
stickers, flyers and newsletters, will be used extensively the weeks before and during Hollydays.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Wednesday, October 15 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. is the PREVIEW PARTY. Guests will have an
opportunity to shop, enjoy entertainment and hors d’oevres. Preview party tickets can be purchased at reduced price of $25
each. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please indicate that on your application.

GENERAL INFORMATION: A hospitality room will be provided for merchants to relax and enjoy coffee and snacks.
Details regarding the merchant room will be in future mailings.

CONTRACTS: Invited merchants will be sent a contract, which must be returned with a non-refundable deposit to reserve
a booth space. The balance of the fee will be due on or before June 1, 2008 (postmarked by June 1, 2008). Failure to return
fees and contracts in a timely manner will result in withdrawal of invitation.

* * * All invited merchants will be required to send a silent auction item with a minimum retail value of $100.
This must be received by June 1, 2008. (This will insure the merchants auction item is added to the auction
program.)

MERCHANT FEES: The Junior League of Baton Rouge, Inc. does not charge a commission on sales. Prices and booth
sizes are listed below and are approximate! One (1) electrical outlet is included in the price. This covers the cost for
the entire market. Some booth sizes can accommodate more than one electrical outlet. If more are needed or
additional voltage needed, there will be an extra charge. Also, some booths provide extra storage for merchants. If
you choose to have a booth with storage, storage will be an additional charge.

                10 x 30 corner or center aisle booth            $3,375 Includes 3 tables, 3 chairs, 3 electrical outlets
PER THE FIRE MARSHALL: Any and all extension cords used by merchants in booths must be the heavy
industrial type; all multiple outlets must have a surge protector.

To complete the application process, please return the following by
March 21, 2008:
1. Printout of Merchant Application Email Confirmation
2. 8 ½” x 11 sheet with pictures of your booth and merchandise
3. Samples of merchandise are optional but highly suggested.
(THIS INCREASES YOUR CHANCES OF “SHOWING OFF YOUR MERCHANDISE” AND BECOMING A
MERCHANT.)
Any samples of your merchandise are NONRETURNABLE. No Exceptions under any circumstances!
Your sample will be used as an auction item as long as it is valued at $100 or above.

Remember, this application does not guarantee selection.
