Guidelines for Implementing

the EBRPSS Curriculum

 All teachers (regular, exceptional students,

gifted, magnet, and honors) are expected

to implement the EBRPSS Curriculum.

 Teachers may not reorder units; this

can be done at the district level only.

 Teachers are given a variety of options to

choose from when implementing the

curriculum, depending on their students’

needs

10

Guidelines continued…

 Activities are not lesson plans.

 EBRPSS Curriculum, not the

textbook, determines what is taught.

 Textbooks are to be used as a

resource, i.e.

– Prerequisite lessons

– Introductory material for activity

– Vocabulary
