Guidelines for Implementing
the EBRPSS Curriculum
All teachers (regular, exceptional students,
gifted, magnet, and honors) are expected
to implement the EBRPSS Curriculum.
Teachers may not reorder units; this
can be done at the district level only.
Teachers are given a variety of options to
choose from when implementing the
curriculum, depending on their students’
needs

Guidelines continued…
Activities are not lesson plans.
EBRPSS Curriculum, not the
textbook, determines what is taught.
Textbooks are to be used as a
resource, i.e.
– Prerequisite lessons
– Introductory material for activity
– Vocabulary
