INTRODUCING THE LOCHINVAR KNIGHT™ WEBCAST
HVACtv.com Will Air an Informational Session about the KNIGHT Heating Boiler
LEBANON, Tenn. (April 2006) – The KNIGHT Heating Boiler from Lochinvar will be
featured in an online webcast on HVACtv.com on May 2, 2006.
Ike Gatlin, boiler product manager and Mike Lahti, vice president of sales, will give viewers
an up-close view of the KNIGHT Heating Boiler and discuss, in detail, the operation,
installation and standard features. Following the webcast, Gatlin and Lahti will be available
for a live question and answer session.
The live webcast will be aired Tuesday, May 2 at 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. Central time and again
at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Central time to accommodate the east and west coast. In order to
access the webcast, viewers must visit www.hvactv.com.
The KNIGHT Heating Boiler is available in seven models with a 12-year limited warranty and
a fully modulating burner with 5:1 turndown. It is standard with an internal sequencer that
allows multiple boilers to be controlled by one central boiler. The KNIGHT’s SMART
SYSTEMTM operating control is user-friendly and will interface with a computer PC to speed
up service calls and show trends in energy consumption.
The condensing KNIGHT Heating Boiler is a champion of high efficiency and can reduce its
heat output as much as 80 percent. It has a 93% DOE AFUE efficiency rating on the 80 to
285 models and a 91% thermal efficiency on the 399 and 500 models.
The compact, lightweight design of the Lochinvar KNIGHT makes installation simple and
inexpensive. The convenient direct vent KNIGHT boiler allows for up to 100 feet of air intake
and 100 feet of flue gas exhaust with PVC pipe, and it has zero clearance to combustible
materials. The equipment is built to commercial-grade standards for safe and reliable
operation.
