Sonoma State is seeking interested sponsors and/or donations for our summer 2009 Super
Kids Camp. The summer program is proud to have been serving Sonoma County since 1992.
The camp experience is a great way to introduce children, ages 5-11, to an instructive
environment that inspires creativity and social engagement. Sonoma State enrolls 20 student
employees and more then 200 children each summer. Weekly programs combine sports
instruction, community involvement, and educational opportunities, making the summer fun
and engaging.
Today’s tough economic conditions make it difficult for our program to continue its
memorable activities without help. In times like these it is crucial that our communities,
families, and businesses work together. As an appreciated supporter of the Super Kids Camp
program we guarantee that the publicity that your company will receive is tremendous. Super
Kids Camp is well known throughout the Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and Santa Rosa areas. The SKC
staff advertises most heavily during the fall school semester through family expos, school
appearances, and community tabling events. During the summer, campers and camp staff wear
camp T-shirt (with sponsor logos), diligently update the SKC website, and host many family
events. Attached to this letter you will find a comprehensive sponsorship and donation proposal
from our team to yours. I truly hope that you consider this opportunity.

What is the Sonoma Student Union Corporation?
The SSUC is a non profit supporting enterprise of Sonoma State University. Integrated on
February 13, 1975, the SSUC delivers programs, services, and facilities in support of the mission of
the University. The three components of the SSUC are the Sonoma Student Union, Campus
Recreation, and the Center for Culture and Gender. 100% of the funds donated to the corporation
go directly to improving the quality of these programs. Super Kids Camp is a program organized
under Sonoma State Campus Recreation.
Where does your contribution go?
Super Kids Camp is an exceptional summer camp with extraordinary campers. The primary goal of
SKC is to provide children in the Sonoma County area a safe, fun and interactive summer experience.
All SKC donations go directly to the camp, helping to provide camper T-shirts, exciting field trips, and
interactive day to day activities. Financial help provided by your company or family helps to keep fees
low without compromising on summer traditions.
