an extraordinary dessert. This means no mixes, nothing artificial, absolutely no compromise.



Imagine a moist intensely chocolate cake, alternately filled with house made caramel and chocolate truffle

cream. Or, perhaps, a delicate all butter genoise, filled with a refreshingly tangy organic lemon mousse and

Frequently Asked Questions



How much does a wedding cake cost?



The final price of your cake is determined by the design, number of servings and, in some instances,

delivery and set up requirements. Other factors that contribute to the final cost include equipment (the

boards, pillars and inner support system), and intricate design details (painting, hand sculpted flowers,

gilding, draping). We will provide you with an estimate at the conclusion of your consultation.



May I sample your work?



Absolutely! We invite you to a consultation where you will sample a variety of cakes and view our

portfolio. There is a $25 service charge for the consultation. However, that fee is applied to the final cost of

your wedding cake if you order within one year of the consultation (fees for additional consultations, when

possible, are not applied). We regret that we cannot refund or apply this fee if you cancel less than 24 hours

in advance or fail to show.



Are there any requirements prior to scheduling a consultation?



Prior to scheduling your consultation we require you to have the event location and caterer secured with

deposits. We also require that you determine your overall budget for your wedding cake. We also highly

suggested that you have had a preliminary meeting with your florist and/or event designer prior to meeting

with us so that you have a vision of what your event will look like. The look of the cake should fit the

environment in which it is displayed, and therefore it is important to have some design direction before

selecting a cake.



May I supply design ideas?



We have always welcomed design input from our clients, as the cake should absolutely reflect your taste

and style. We have a portfolio of original designs so that you can evaluate our skill and be inspired by

choices other clients have made. You may select one of these designs or elect to have us create an original

cake for your special day. Out of respect to our competitors and our desire to be unique, we do not replicate

cakes that have been made by other cake companies, published in magazines or seen on television. We

encourage you to bring in photos, magazine cut outs, or any visual aids you feel will assist us in

understanding the style of cake you desire.



Do you deliver?



Our wedding and special occasion cakes are delivered and shipped locally, throughout the United States and

internationally. The distance, carrier, handling and set up requirements determines delivery and shipping

fees.



Do you supply flowers?



Yes, we decorate our cakes in their entirety. We request that you supply us with a list of requested flowers

and we will incorporate them into the design. We use botanically correct hand sculpted flowers made from

sugar and non-toxic organic fresh flowers to your specifications.







When should I place my order?



You may place your order at any time. Our peak season for weddings is April through November. In order

to maintain the high standards that have become our trademark we often limit the number of events that we

accept to 10 per weekend during this period. Ordering a minimum of four to six months in advance is

highly suggested. In order to reserve your date a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required. All deposits and

payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. If

your date is nearly booked before you have an opportunity to meet with us, or if you want to secure our

services and meet later to finalize details, we suggest that you send a deposit to hold your reservation, as

final details for your cake are not due until one month prior to your event.

A Matter of Taste…





To us, your cake should be much more than something beautiful to behold. It must also be an extraordinary

dessert... one that rivals any dessert served in a Three Star restaurant. A tasting at Perfect Endings is

comprised multiple cakes that will vary in flavor and texture, from intensely chocolate to dense and homey

to light and fruity. Because we have a hard time deciding, we change them from time to time depending on

what excites us at that particular moment. Some of our favorites are…

Devil’s Food Cake

The classic chocolate layer cake filled and frosted with old fashioned chocolate frosting.



Mahogany

Chocolate layer cake with chocolate hazelnut truffle cream.



Café Mocha

Chocolate layer cake brushed with coffee and filled with a cafe au lait Bavarian cream.





Vintage Cakes…

Traditional layer cakes like 'mama' used to bake!



Coconut Layer Cake

All butter cake fragrant with coconut and Tahitian vanilla

Vanilla bean pound cake filled with our own crushed organic raspberry preserves and vanilla buttercream.
