GOD’S CALL TO MAN...

The calling of God on the life of mankind is not just for the individual, but it is to all of mankind. Adam was to be herder of the flocks, gardener of the jungles and forests and cultivator of the soils. The Bible shows us in Genesis that God had a certain image and position that He selected for Adam. What has happened to God’s Image and purpose for man. Genesis 1:27 “ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” So what does that mean. It means that in the beginning God, from His love for man gave man the gift of His spirit, a spirit which connected man to God throughout all eternity. In the beginning God intended for man to live forever. But it was the sin of man that changed the course of his longevity. God so formed the world to give man control and dominion over all the animals.

Animals recognized that man was superior to them. During this time animals of all kinds could roam the earth together. The lion with the deer. The shark with the seals. The Bible says in Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.” 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”And the Bible says in verse 15 “ And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it . 16And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. What do you think God was saying to the man. That he would die a natural death or a spiritual death? The Bible says that God is a spirit. In the beginning man was able to communicate directly with God because of his connection to God spiritually. Man lived in a paradise which had none of the influence of sin.

them. No knowledge of pain, hurt, or suffering of any kind. Man had control over all that was in the garden the Bible says in Genesis chapter one verse 19 “And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.” 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. So Adam was lonely because he had no companion like himself. So the Bible says in chapter one verse 21 “ And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken form man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 “ And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man”. So let’s look at all that Adam had, an endless supply of food, animals that respected his position and authority that God had given him. A companion made by the hand of God. Air that was probably as fresh as the breath of God. Water that was probably clearer that crystal. A safe environment in which he could roam, sleep, and relax without any harm or danger. And what did Adam have most of all a spiritual connection with God. He could walk and talk with God on a daily basis like you and I can talk to one another. But things changed. And why did things change? Can you imagine your life being filled with such joy and paradise like Adam and Eve’s was and doing anything to jeopardize that life. Can you imagine how wonderful it must have been to walk in the presence of God everyday. Wow what a life Adam and Eve had. Beauty all around www.shiningbrightproductions.com 2 The Bible says in Genesis 3:1- “1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2" And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the garden: 3 “ But the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5" For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in
the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou was naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the

Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou has done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above The Bible says that while man and woman were on earth that there was something going on up in heaven. An angel whose name was Lucifer had some problems with his position. Isaiah. 14:1214 "12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascent into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also up the; mount of the congregation , in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” This marks the beginning of sin in the universe. Lucifer wanted to replace God and be in charge of the universe. But, even before Lucifer could devise a plan to raise himself above God. The Bible says that God had already been aware of Lucifer’s plans. And the Bible says that I saw Lucifer cast down like fire from heaven. Yes, God cast that demon Lucifer out of Heaven for good. And where did that old devil fall. He fell right here on earth. But, the Bible says that Lucifer told God when He cast him out, that he would reek havoc on the God’s creation. That creation was the earth below heaven and the man and woman God had created. every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.” Why do you think the serpent beguiled Eve? paradise and their divine life of luxury. The Bible says in Genesis 3:15 “ And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 “ And unto Adam he said Because thou has hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and has eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return. 21 Unto Adam also and his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever: 23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, (Angels guarded the tree of life) and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Adam and Eve had a decision to make when sin came upon them to tempt them. Each and every one of us has a decision to make when sin comes to tempt us everyday. When Adam and Eve sinned they took the right to the tree of life away from all mankind. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins He gave a right to the tree of life back to mankind. It is through the shed blood of Jesus 3
So what happened, to Adam and Eve they had a garden paradise to live in. But, because Eve chose to listen to the serpent and not follow the instructions of her husband, who gave her the commandment from God they lost their garden www.shiningbrightproductions.com

that we are redeemed of our sins. But that does not mean that we can sin continually purposely without remorse hurting others and ourselves. God wants us to repent of our sins to invoke his forgiveness which came only through the shedding blood. The blood of the Lamb. That Lamb is Jesus Christ. If you don’t know the Lord today, I entreat you to in the humblest way you can, say Father God I did that twenty -one years ago, I asked God to forgive me of my sin and to save me and I was baptized with water and in his spirit and filled with His precious Holy Ghost. I hope you made the right choice today the right decision for your life. Yes the right decision for your life. The Bible says in James 1: 23-24 “ For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.” We must go to God and ask him to guide throughout our days in our lives with our coworkers, husbands, wives, children, to do the things he want us to. To be the example that He chooses. The Bible says in Proverbs 3: Trust in the Lord with all thy heart lean not unto to thy own understanding in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” We must go to God to pray and ask about the way we should handle the things we do in our lives from working our jobs to disciplining our children. in the Blessed name of Jesus I have sinned and I need your forgiveness, forgive me for my sin and come into my heart and save me from my sins. And God will do it and you will be set free from your sins through the shed blood of Jesus.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return. Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children. Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk. Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine. Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity. Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them! Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you, you may have touched their life in ways you will never know!
