N Sync
C'mon, Who Doesn't Love Nsync???
Now *NSYNC will never go down in history as the artists who changed the
music scene or saved any genre, but more than ten years after this al bum
has come out, it still works. These were five singers who would hit the
right notes and put in a bit of their own style. They had a nice five part
harmony. They do a lot of songs that had already been done, "Sailing,"
"Everything I Own," et al. However, these are good songs, and these are
good reinterpretations of good songs.
Like all pop groups, there are the much more uptempo tunes, "Here We
Go" "I Want You Back," and many more, but they also have the soft side,
showed on "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time on You," along with
other songs.
*NSYNC might not play any instruments other than voice (at leas t on these
albums; Justin Timberlake plays guitar and bass, JC Chasez plays guitar
and piano, Lance Bass plays piano, Chris Kirkpatrick plays guitar, and
Joey Phatone plays drums), but the electronic back-up band isn't bad. It's
good pop, and there will always be teen heartthrob artists, whether we like
it or not.
*NSYNC will probably go down in history as one of those teen heartthrob
artists, but there isn't anything wrong with that. That's how the Beatles got
their start.
