It meets all of the required elements in motivation
Expectancy theory of motivation that I have learned in this
course helped me understand this story.
Effort: he works hard in mathematics. He did all the homework
on time, went to all lectures, took notes, and asked questions
Performance: He got 99% in first midterm.
Highly motivation
Outcome: He kept working hard and did extra work.
Performance 2: He got 100% in second midterm
But he became dissatisfied because he thought 100% is useless.
Low motivation
Outcome 2: He started to absent the course.
To motivate students:
1. Set an award to encourage students do their best
2. Make students know and understand ourselves and the
environment around us.
3. Give more praise by oral.
