Model ERC
Rotary Printer
Originally designed for the advertising specialties industry, the ERC has also been proven
successful for decorating glass and ceramic, pharmaceutical, electronic, cosmetic, and
automotive products. Its ability to print on three dimensional, difficult-to-hold products
makes the ERC a practical machine for medium to high volume production printing.
At Systematic Automation, we designed the ERC precision printer with the safety of the
operator in mind. Unlike many rotary index screen printers on the market, this model has
overload protection on all machine movements. Pinch points have been eliminated
wherever possible. If the indexer movement is obstructed, it will harmlessly overload. The
minimal force with which the indexer rotates can even be held back by hand, causing no
harm to either the operator or machine.
Standard Features
Stainless steel air cylinders.
Foot pedal single-cycle for set up.
Heavy duty welded base.
Foot pedal cycle start.
Carriage up/down switch.
8 Station indexer.
Engineering Features
Precision machine tool quality and durability.
Hardened, ground and polished shafts, top quality linear ball bearings rated at over
300 million cycles.
Simple, reliable air logic controls.
100% air operation (safe for use near flammable solvents).
Pneumatic system cannot overload or burn out.
Variable stroke length.
Universal screen mount.
Easily removable squeegee/flood bar assembly.
Flood bar rises and falls alternately with squeegee.
Smooth, quiet operation.
Carriage opens pneumatically for screen cleaning and set up.
Precision-hinged rear screen frame holder provides access to inside of screen and
squeegee without affecting registration.
Doweled nesting plates for quick changeover.
Machine can operate in single-cycle or fully automatic mode.
Open design keeps ink vapors from collecting or being directed toward operator
(pneumatic only).
Changeable indexing. Indexer can be easily changed to 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 stations
(dial permitting).
