Multiplication Sundaes

Dear Parents,
Our class is excited to begin earning our multiplication
sundaes. We will have a real ice cream sundae party on
March 4, 2011.
Your child will earn each part of the sundae by passing a
weekly multiplication fact test. Each test covers only
one set of times tables, like the 3’s, and must be 100%
correct in one minute. Each week we have another test.
The tests have twelve problems. As each student passes a
test, he/she gets to add to his/her classroom paper
sundae. Students who fail to pass may repeat the test as
often as they want on succeeding days.
On March 6, we award the sundaes to those who have
qualified.

Nov. 5 the zeros and ones
Nov. 12 the twos Jan. 14 the eights
Nov. 26 the threes Jan. 21 the nines
Dec. 3 the fours Jan. 28 the tens
Dec. 10 the fives Feb. 4 the elevens
Dec. 17 the sixes Feb. 11 the twelves
Jan. 7 the sevens Mar. 4 the sundae
