Around how many langauges are spoken today?

People in different countries eat different food. What are the differences between
their and ours?

Unit Summary
Sushi anyone? I've been around the world is a unit about different countries and
cultures of the world. The world is a big place and it is a very interesting to see into
the lives of different cultures. Around 8 billion est is a rough estimate of how many
people living the world today. It is a very interesting topic learning about how other
cultures live day to day life. Their religions, food, housing, ecomony, music, politics,
dress and ancient culture. All these factors will be covered in this unit. Learning a
second language is a wonderful skill to have, in his unit the students will be learning
french on a half hour tutorial on a weekly basis.

The Poser will be displayed in the classroom and the time given for the project will
included reseach time and visits to the library.
The frech lessons will run for the whole unit time with a small oral test at the end of
the unit
