LICENSING TRADE ASSOCIATION EXPANDS EXECUTIVE TEAM TO SUPPORT STRATEGIC INITIATIVES (New York, NY) August 5, 2008 – To strengthen its role in promoting global growth of the $180+ billion worldwide licensing industry, the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) today announced the addition of two executives who will spearhead the expansion of the association. Martin Brochstein joins LIMA as Senior Vice President of Industry Relations & Information on August 18th, while Jennifer Coleman, elevates her current consulting role to Senior Vice President of Marketing & New Business Development. “This is an exciting time for our association and the industry -- with the move of Licensing Expo to Las Vegas, approval of a new three-year strategic plan and now these significant additions to our staff – we have incredible momentum that will help us extend our reach and impact on the industry as a whole.” stated Charles Riotto, President, LIMA. He continued: “We have a clear mandate from our Board and our membership that LIMA’s mission is to help our industry grow and prosper globally. With these resources and a number of other additions and enhancements we’ll be working on over the next few months, LIMA will be at the epicenter of advocacy and primacy for this ever-evolving industry and its membership.” Mr. Brochstein joins the Association from EPM Communications, where he had been Executive Editor of The Licensing Letter since 1996. Additionally, he was EPM's Editorial Director since 2002. While at The Licensing Letter, he also authored and supervised numerous books and reports, including two editions of "International Licensing: A Status Report," "The Licensing Letter Sports Licensing Report" and "The Licensing Letter Royalty Trends Report." He has been a longtime moderator of panels at LIMA-produced Licensing University, and has spoken widely at conferences and meetings in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Prior to his work at EPM, he spent five years as Senior Editor of Television Digest and was founding editor of Consumer Multimedia Report. Earlier in his career, Brochstein

LIMA New Hires Page 2 was Editor of Consumer Electronics Monthly and Electronics Merchandising, Executive Editor of Discount Store News, and Retail Editor and Consumer Electronics Editor at HFD. He is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Journalism. Ms. Coleman joins the LIMA staff as a full-time employee after a successful five-year consulting stint for the Association. In 2002, Ms. Coleman founded GEE! Ventures Inc., her consulting firm, which specialized in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for emerging brands in the licensing space. Her clients included The Araca Group, Britt Allcroft Productions, Endless Games, HIT Entertainment, LIMA and Marathon Animation. Prior to joining LIMA, Ms. Coleman was the Head of Marketing for Gullane Entertainment (now HIT Entertainment) and was responsible for turning around the stalled Thomas & Friends™ brand. She has also worked in marketing management for retailers Discovery Zone FunCenters and Country Road Australia, and commenced her taste for brands and licensing while working in corporate marketing for Chanel, Inc. She is a graduate of Lake Forest College and holds an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University. In addition, the association has hired GLA Communications as its public relations agency of record. GLA has an extensive background working with trade shows and trade associations having represented the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the International CES and BIO.
