   Thank you, Shunji.

What kind of products interest you? Are you referring to chairs? To postural supports that induce
lumbar lordosis? Or to a larger variety of products for preventing musculoskeletal disorders?

Can you tell me the kinds of products you intend to include from Japan?

That would help us understand what we can suggest from the US.

I would be happy to give the organizer a copy of the childergo book. Cindy wrote the chapter in the
book on children and handwriting, by the way.

   Best, Rani

    Dear Rani,

I regret my insufficient explanation in my last mail on what the exhibition at the symposium is like.

There may be three stages in the planning process of the exhibition as:

    1) Understanding of objectives---emage-building of the exhibition;
    2) Selection of ergo-goods to be displayed; and
    3) Cost estimation---collection and transportation.

The objectives of the exhibition were described in my previous mail. It may still be difficult for you to
imagine how the event will take place.

It is not like a full-scale exhibition. A display area will be prepared in the rear part of the conference
room where the symposium is held, and a collection of ergo goods are to be displayed there; some
collected in Japan and others brought from your country., so that attendees at the symposium can
touch and experience them, realizing how effectively their ergonomic features function.

In the selection process of ergo goods, we can collect and display those goods put on the Japanese
market, so we expect you and Cindy to pick up such goods as cannot be found in Japan and likely
attract attention from Japanese people, and send them to Japan for display.
If you send us pictures of candidate goods, Kageyu will select those goods to be displayed out of them.

It goes without saying that a certain cost will come up in their collection and transportation. We must
have it charged to the conference organizer, although there must be a budgetary limitation. I am asked
by the organizer for cost estimation of the exhibition.

As such, I'd like you and Cindy to first take pictures of your candidate goods preferably with associated
costs and send them to us. After selection by Kageyu, I'll ask you both for estimation of total cost.

Mentioned above is our idea on the procedure for preparing ergo-goods for display. Cooperation from
you and Cindy would be appreciated.

By the way, let me convey to you suggestions from Kageyu. He recommends you to bring a dozen of
copies of your recent book to the conference through your agent in Japan, so that attendees at the
conference can buy tlhem. He also proposes an idea of your donating one copy to Chubu Gakuin
University, the organizer of the conference. They would highly appreciate your kind present.

    Best regards,

    Shunji

     Dear Kageyu and Shunji.

Thank you for your message. I am sorry, but I do not know what you mean by an "estimation of the
sending costs of my ergo-collections and layout of exhibition".

Could you please provide more information about what you need?

     Thanks, Rani

      Dear Rani,

I am still interested to visit the house of Eames. However LA visit in
September was postponed. I want to visit LA after the Las Vegas visit in
November. I want to visit the house at that time.

The planning of the Gifu symposium is an important stage now.$B!!(BYou should
realized that you and Cindy will be featuring there.

The exhibition of Ergo-products is very important in the same way.
Specially, it is expected to become a start for the ignorant people in
      ergonomics.

The organizer of the symposium requests asap to Shunji the estimation of the
sending cost of your ergo-collections and idea of layout of the exhibition.$B!!(B
