Song of Solomon 1 1 The song of songs, which is Solomon’s.
Song of Solomon 1 THE Shulamite[a]
2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his
Song of Solomon 1 mouth—
For your[b] love is better than wine.
Song of Solomon 1
3 Because of the fragrance of your
Song of Solomon 1 good ointments,
Your name is ointment poured forth;
Song of Solomon 1
Therefore the virgins love you.
Song of Solomon 1
Song of Solomon 1 4 Draw me away!
Song of Solomon 1 The Daughters of Jerusalem
Song of Solomon 1 We will run after you.
Song of Solomon 1 The Shulamite
The king has brought me into his
Song of Solomon 1
chambers.
Song of Solomon 1 The Daughters of Jerusalem
Song of Solomon 1 We will be glad and rejoice in you.
Song of Solomon 1 We will remember your[e] love
Song of Solomon 1 more than wine.
Song of Solomon 1 The Shulamite
Song of Solomon 1 Rightly do they love you.
Song of Solomon 1 5 I am dark,
but lovely,
Song of Solomon 1
O daughters of Jerusalem,
Song of Solomon 1
Like the tents of Kedar,
Song of Solomon 1 Like the curtains of Solomon.
Song of Solomon 1 6 Do not look upon me,
because I am dark,
Song of Solomon 1
Because the sun has tanned me.
Song of Solomon 1
My mother’s sons were angry with
Song of Solomon 1 me;
They made me the keeper of the
Song of Solomon 1 vineyards,
Song of Solomon 1 But my own vineyard I have not kept.
Song of Solomon 1 (To Her Beloved)
7 Tell me, O you whom I love,
Song of Solomon 1
Where you feed your flock,
Song of Solomon 1
Where you make it rest at noon.
Song of Solomon 1
For why should I be as one who veils
Song of Solomon 1 herself[g]
By the flocks of your companions?
Song of Solomon 1 THE Beloved
Song of Solomon 1 8 If you do not know,
O fairest among women,
Song of Solomon 1
Follow in the footsteps of the flock,
Song of Solomon 1
And feed your little goats
Song of Solomon 1
Beside the shepherds’ tents.
Song of Solomon 1
9 I have compared you, my love,
Song of Solomon 1
To my filly among Pharaoh’s chariots.
Song of Solomon 1
10 Your cheeks are lovely with
Song of Solomon 1 ornaments,
Song of Solomon 1 Your neck with chains of gold.
Song of Solomon 1 THE Daughters of Jerusalem
11 We will make you[h] ornaments of
Song of Solomon 1 gold
With studs of silver.
Song of Solomon 1 THE Shulamite
12 While the king is at his table,
Song of Solomon 1
My spikenard sends forth its fragrance.
Song of Solomon 1
Song of Solomon 1 13 A bundle of myrrh
is my beloved to me,
Song of Solomon 1
That lies all night between my breasts.
Song of Solomon 1
14 My beloved is to me a cluster of
Song of Solomon 1 henna blooms
Song of Solomon 1 In the vineyards
Song of Solomon 1 of En Gedi.
Song of Solomon 1 THE Beloved
15 Behold, you are fair,
Song of Solomon 1
my love!
Song of Solomon 1
Behold, you are fair!
Song of Solomon 1 You have dove’s eyes.
Song of Solomon 1 THE Shulamite
16 Behold, you are handsome, my
Song of Solomon 1 beloved!
Yes, pleasant!
Song of Solomon 1
Also our bed is green.
Song of Solomon 1
17 The beams of our houses are cedar,
Song of Solomon 1
And our rafters of fir.
I am the rose of Sharon,
Song of Solomon 2
And the lily of the valleys.
Song of Solomon 2 THE Beloved
2 Like a lily among thorns,
Song of Solomon 2
Song of Solomon 2 So is my love among the daughters.
Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite
3 Like an apple tree among the trees of
Song of Solomon 2 the woods,
So is my beloved among the sons.
Song of Solomon 2
I sat down in his shade with great
Song of Solomon 2 delight,
Song of Solomon 2 And his fruit was sweet to my taste.
Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite to the Daughters of Jerusalem
4 He brought me to the banqueting
Song of Solomon 2 house,
And his banner over me was love.
Song of Solomon 2
5 Sustain me with cakes of raisins,
Refresh me with apples,
Song of Solomon 2
For I am lovesick.
6 His left hand is under my head,
Song of Solomon 2
And his right hand embraces me.
Song of Solomon 2
7 I charge you, O daughters of
Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the does of the
Song of Solomon 2
field,
Do not stir up nor awaken love
Until it pleases.
Song of Solomon 2
Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite
8 The voice of my beloved!
Song of Solomon 2
Behold, he comes
Leaping upon the mountains,
Song of Solomon 2
Skipping upon the hills.
9 My beloved is like a gazelle or a
Song of Solomon 2 young stag.
Behold, he stands behind our wall;
Song of Solomon 2
He is looking through the windows,
Song of Solomon 2 Gazing through the lattice.
10 My beloved spoke, and said to me:
“ Rise up, my love, my fair one,
Song of Solomon 2
And come away.
Song of Solomon 2
11 For lo, the winter is past,
Song of Solomon 2
The rain is over and gone.
Song of Solomon 2
12 The flowers appear on the earth;
Song of Solomon 2
The time of singing has come,
Song of Solomon 2
And the voice of the turtledove
Song of Solomon 2 Is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree puts forth her green
figs,
Song of Solomon 2 And the vines with the tender grapes
Give a good smell.
Rise up, my love, my fair one,
Song of Solomon 2 And come away!
Song of Solomon 2 14 “ O my dove,
in the clefts of the rock,
Song of Solomon 2
In the secret places of the cliff,
Song of Solomon 2
Let me see your face,
Song of Solomon 2
Let me hear your voice;
Song of Solomon 2
For your voice is sweet,
Song of Solomon 2
And your face is lovely.”
Song of Solomon 2 HER Brothers
15 Catch us the foxes,
Song of Solomon 2
The little foxes that spoil the vines,
Song of Solomon 2
Song of Solomon 2 For our vines have tender grapes.
Song of Solomon 2 THE Shulamite
Song of Solomon 2 16 My beloved is mine,
and I am his.
Song of Solomon 2
Song of Solomon 2 He feeds his flock
Song of Solomon 2 among the lilies.
17 Until the day breaks
Song of Solomon 2 And the shadows flee away,
Turn, my beloved,
Song of Solomon 2
And be like a gazelle
Song of Solomon 2 Or a young stag
Upon the mountains of Bether.[a]
Song of Solomon 3 THE Shulamite
By night on my bed I sought the one I
Song of Solomon 3 love;
I sought him, but I did not find him.
Song of Solomon 3
2 “ I will rise now,” I said,
Song of Solomon 3
“ And go about the city;
Song of Solomon 3 In the streets and in the squares
I will seek the one I love.”
I sought him, but I did not find him.
Song of Solomon 3
Song of Solomon 3 3 The watchmen
Song of Solomon 3 who go about the city
found me;
Song of Solomon 3
I said,
Song of Solomon 3 “ Have you seen the one I love?”
4 Scarcely had I passed by them,
Song of Solomon 3 When I found the one I love.
I held him and would not let him go,
Song of Solomon 3
Song of Solomon 3 Until I had brought him
to the house of my mother,
Song of Solomon 3
And into the chamber of her who
Song of Solomon 3 conceived me.
5 I charge you, O daughters of
Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the does of the
Song of Solomon 3
field,
Do not stir up nor awaken love
Until it pleases.
Some believe Solomon wrote this at his old age, in maturity
of his spiritual life after repentance. Some believe he wrote
it at his young age, because of the passion and purity in the
love. Regardless, this is a prophetic song, symbolic of the
love relationship between Christ and His bride, the Church,
as He guides her, leads her and molds her through the
journey of life with many trials and tests till she reaches to
maturity, the fullness in Christ, without blemish.
First touched by His love and grace. She is full of passion for
the Lord with a heart long dead and lost revived by the love
of God. Do we all remember our first encounters with the
Lord? I remember mine! I am sure we all have our unique
experiences, but that is what makes it special to each one of
us, His children.
Psalm 40
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
Hunger and thirst for more of Him, not because He already
gave me everything I want, or He can give me more of what
I want or do hat I want Him to do, but the desire of intimate
relationship with Him. Getting beyond fish and bread. Enter
into the union of life.
Yes, the Lord is indeed entirely lovely! Therefore, in those
young and innocent days, we are so drawn by His love, it is
not hard at all to love Him because He satisfies our soul!
And we want to share with everybody about Him. It does
not matter that our life is not a good testimony for Him!
Acts 4:11-12 (NKJV)
11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders,
which has become the chief cornerstone.’[a] 12 Nor is there
salvation in any other, for there is no other name under
heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV)
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love
does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave
rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no
evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things.
Hebrews 13:10-13 (NKJV)
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals, who
blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He
might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the cam
bearing His reproach.
Draw me away', so that many will follow after Christ. The
grace and witness of one of His children will impact many to
follow after. Life of fruitfulness. Kingdom yeast.
Entering into the Holy of Holies through Christ Jesus, as an
answer to her prayer of 'draw me away'.
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.
Her traveling companions, also fruit of her labor. The
daughters of Jerusalem probably smells the sweet aroma of
Jesus in Shulamite's life through trials and tests.
Colossians 1:9-13 (NKJV)
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His
glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers
the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom
of the Son of His love,
Wine: broken and hard pressed and transformed. A tried life
by the Hand of God.
There is no jealousy in her. They do rightly love you. The
most successful servant of God is the one who leads people
to the direct relationship with the Lord, and remove oneself
from being a stumbling block.
Now as she comes closer to the Light of God's face, she sees
more of herself in her flesh. When we come closer to the
True Light, all of our mask of holiness will melt like wax,
which is why no one can see God and live.
But she has only experienced first circumcision, and her love
of her old self are still not completely gone.
She wants to share her joy with everybody else, and wishing
all of them will have what she has experienced with the
Lord! However, at this point of her spiritual life her
knowledge of God is very much limited by her experiences
with the Lord. She needs the whole Truth in the Word.
Dark and lovely, the glory and beauty of the world.
Still self conscientious.
Hebrews 12
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin whic
so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finishe
of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right ha
of the throne of God.
We have all be marred and hurt by life since we live in a lost
and fallen world. When we stop looking back and finding
excuses for ourselves, this is when we are truly completely
healed.
Because now she has a deeper encounter with the Lord, and
she no longer just blindly follow what they are doing a=or
do what they tell her to do, which obviously has not
satisfied her. That is why she is hungry for mere.
She was doing what men, maybe even her spiritual leaders told her to do. When the enlightenment and conviction of the Hol
Spirit comes, and we see our works in the flesh and all that used to make us feel good now become only works of the flesh, it
a very humbling experience. I feel unworthy, in times taken back, and other times tempted with condemnation. Truly no one
can serve God and in my flesh it is good for nothng.
And thank God He does not reveal all of our sins and iniquities all at once. If He does that, for sure on one can live. I know i
can't!
"My own vineyard": The things God entrusted to her and
called her to do. She found out that she had been chasing
the wind in vain. Everything she did before was a waste and
the grieve consequence she suffered for neglecting her own
vineyard!
But it is indeed not in vain, because through those painful
experiences we learn to obedience.
Therefore, in her wilderness she cries out to her Lord,
whose love touches satisfied her for a season, but seems no
longer enough now.
Why is my soul cast down? Why am I not satisfied? Where
is your living water? This is the Lord's answer to her prayer:
"Draw me away".
She wants rest and peace in her soul, which seems that she
could not get right now, which she will not untill she come
to a place of total surrender. This is a painful process and
takes time. And we use our will power to surrender and
praise through trusting that all things work together for the
good to those who love Him and are called according to His
purposes.
She has offered herself up as a burnt offering on the
altar, and she is now caught up in a inner strife, which
nothing the Lord's companions are feeding her can quench
that fire. She longs for truth.
How can you not know? I gave you my Word, and there is a
cloud of witness ahead of you! Et we can be foolish indeed,
because of he bondage of sin and lust of the flesh in our old
self.
This is the first time the Lord speaks in this song. It is
encouragement to her. The Lord sees her natural beauty,
the gifts and grace bestowed on her. She is fairest among
women, because she is hungry and thirsty for God.
1 Corinthians 11: 1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Thessalonians 2:14 (NKJV)
14 For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of
God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered
the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did
from the Judeans,
Those the Lord gives to her care. We are blessed to be a
blessing. We cannot just persue His presence for our own
enjoyment, but to share the heart and mind of the Lord and
be His hands and feet.
With many of those who are called for the same purpose,
for we are one in spirit in body. We have one Head. Mary
indeed chose the good part, but the Lord entered into their
house upon Martha's invitation.
She is His love, not His bride yet, because right now she only
knows that she needs the Lord, but she has yet to learn the
marriage covenant requires her to offer herself up on the
altar as living sacrifice.
Filly: horse. Pharoah's horses are strong and fast. Right now,
Shulamite is operating in her own natural strength,
impressive to men, but not led and controlled by the Holy
Spirit.
Isaiah 53:6 (NKJV)
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Lovely cheeks: natural beauty. Ornaments: works of Holy
Spirit in her heart Right now her spiritual level is for the
most part in natural strength, but have experienced the
work of Holy Spirit.
In our flesh we are stiff necked and rebellious, because of
the sinful nature. Chain of gold: purified in fire. When her
neck is adorned with chain of gold, then she has gone
through some lessons of obedience through suffering.
When we walk in disobedience, we are indeed persecuting
the Lord and serving the devil.
Now her testimony has inspired many to follow. Together
they will walk this path of life in journey to Zion. This is
God's desire for us that all will be tried and tested and be
purified in our hearts so we will shine for Him and be
partakers in His glory for eternity.
Milk and honey form His life, when we abide in Him, His life
flows into us and through us.
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Her spikenard: her sacrifice and offering. Since she is sitting
at the King's table, this is an offering unto the Lord to satisfy
His heart.
From Wikipedia: Myrrh (pronounced /ˈmɜr/) is the aromatic oleoresin of a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus
Commiphora, which grow in dry, stony soil.[1] An oleoresin is a natural blend of an essential oil and a resin. Myrrh resin is a
natural gum.
When a tree wound penetrates through the bark and into the sapwood, the tree bleeds a resin. Myrrh gum, like frankincense
such a resin. When people harvest myrrh, they wound the trees repeatedly to bleed them of the gum.
Our Lord is indeed a bundle of myrrh to us!
Now because we partake His suffering, we are joined
together with Him. Our life can be a peace offering unto the
Lord and bring pleasure to His heart.
Now she is walking into the life on the altar. Our journey
with the Lord begins with Salvation. At first encounter with
the Lord, we see the darkness of sin in our hearts upon the
Light of His Face. We reeive Christ as our Savior, like a
bundle of myrr we holds Him dear unto our hearts and we
are filled with thanksgiving receiving the saving grace in
forgiveness of all of our sins. The Lord is indeed entirely
lovely and loving and we are so poor and needy! Now we
respond to that love with brokenness of the flask and
offering of our life on the altar as a sweet aroma unto the
Lord.
Vineyards: God's house. Grapevines are not known for its
beautiful flowering, but bountiful in fruition. We do not only
have the Lord in our hearts, but we are called to live a life
demonstrating the reality of Christ living in us. Be the light
to the world and salt on earth.
David's wilderness as he is hiding from Saul's pursuit of his
life: the lost and dying world without God, which we are
called to be His witness.
The Lord encourages us to move forward with His love. We
have indeed offered our lives unto the Lord, but we are still
young and immature in statue. As a parent wooing the baby
just learning to walk, we need a lot of encouragement in
expression of His love.
But we are still only His love, not His bride. But the Lord
sees the end from the beginning.
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It
shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I
please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Now we have gained some knowledge of God and we are
starting to see the things around us from His perspective.
Our song starts with everything the Lord is to us. We are
grateful to the Lord for everything He has done for us. We
are very much like spiritual babies needing love and wanting
more, but we have yet to learn to respond to His love. Now
our focus is turning from ourselves to the Lord. We begin to
see beyond ourselves and we can praise and worship Him
for Who He IS, not for Who He is to me. This is when our
faith is increased that we look beyond our circumstances
and we surrender our will to His will and our way to His
way.
Every time we choose to yield unto the Lord in His will, it
may be painful in the moment, but when we come through,
we always find ourselves rejoicing and grateful for the grace
given to us to obey, because we experience new freedom in
our life!
Full of life.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV)
7“ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
And whose hope is the LORD.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear[a] when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
She has been given the wings to soar and now it is the time
for test of her heart and her strength. Sharon and valley are
both symbolic of difficulties and wilderness experience
(isaiah 33:9, Psalm 84:5).But in the midst of our
circumstances, we express the beauty of His resurrected
Life in us.
The Lord is setting us up for some challenges. If we are like
a lily and dwell among thorns, chances are if we want to
keep the Light and beautity and demonstrate His grace, we
will be stung a few times, not only just in the world, more
likely 'in the house', 'among the daughters'.
Until our hearts are thoroughly tried, tested and purified,
we are still His love 'among the daughters'. God desires for
us to be overcomers.
At this point we are still calculating the cost of following the
the Lord all the way. The world still has temptations trying
to draw us away from the Lord, for indeed, entering the
Kingdom of God requires us to deny ourselves and carry the
cross.
We have enough experience with the Lord and enough Light
in our hearts to know that His love is indeed better than
anything the world has to offer.
Grace upon grace! But indeed we are commanded not to
receive grace in vain.
His Word is indeed sweet to our soul, but we will learn that
it is difficult when we try to put it into practice.
Now we start witnessing for the Lord. If we are honest, we
are all bunch of amateurs in terms of warfare. We are all
pretty immature in terms of character development. Our
best tricks are like the children's game in God's eyes. But He
looks upon our hearts. He willnever find anybody to use on
earth if He has to wait for any one of us to be perfected. He
generously pours down His blessings upon us. Father, help
us not to be a bottleneck for you.
Right now we have tasted the Lord's love and know that He
is gooooood! We have yet to discover many faucets in His
characters. Can we ever comprehend everything about
Him? I believe we have eternity to explore.
Tasted the living water, we desire for more, which is why
we consistantly cry out for revival and outpouring, because
we long for Him!Spiritual gifts will not satisfy us, large
ministries will not satisfy us. We need HIM.
His nail scarred Hand upholds us so we can break free from
the snares of the sin and look upon our God in Heaven.
Kings 17:36-37 (NKJV)
36 but the LORD, who brought you up from the land of
Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm, Him you
shall fear, Him you shall worship, and to Him you shall offer
sacrifice. 37 And the statutes, the ordinances, the law, and
the commandment which He wrote for you, you shall be
careful to observe forever; you shall not fear other gods.
The amplified Bible identifies this verse as "He said" instead
of "she said". I tend to agree. There is a time to battle and a
time to rest. As Mary sat before the Lord feast upon Him
and the woman with flask oil poured upon the Lord's feet,
we can also experience the times we are so drawn by His
loving presence, we are oblivious to everything else around
us and even to the existane of our own self. Worship in
spirit of truth. This is the completion of the answer to the
prayer "draw me away".
Matthew 18:3
and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the
kingdom of heaven.
It will be great if the journey stops right there and rapture
comes right now and we are all caught up in Heaven! But as
Beth Moore said one time: you just keep waking up
everyday! The danger of us getting hibernated in that place
and forget our life has a purpose. Do we want revival? Can
we hear Him calling.....
The Lord is walking on the earth even today, through those
walking in obedience to Him. The path of life is by no means
smooth and easy. The truth is it's impossible for us to travel
that road without the grace of God. Even with His grace,
with the Holy Spirit in us, it is still narrow and difficult, "for
wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to
destruction, and there are many who go in by it" (Matthew
7:13).
However, He has overcome. Therefore He walks in spiritual
authority and He will lead His church to tirumph, if we
persevere to the end.
The wall separates us from the Lord is our self-
centeredness.
Revelation 3:20-21 (NKJV)
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with hi
and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My
Father on His throne.
Still only the one He loves, but we have yet to learn to love
Him and love others as He loves and in doing that we
become one with Him.
Hebrews 13:12-14 (NKJV)
12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us
forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.
We have been saved from the spiritual death and given a
new life. Much grace has been bestowed upon us. Now it is
time to live the reurrected Life. Arise and shine!
The stream has dried up. The Lord will no longer pour down
the way He did before. He expects us to conquor new
heights and grow in Him.
Before we were like lily among the thorns. Now the flowers appear on the earth. Why does the Lord place lily among the
thorns? I believe for two reasons:1) Draw me away so we will follow. A grain has to die and be buried in the ground before it
produce a harvest; 2) The Word of God is a double edged sword. Some of us are given much grace and many spiritual gifts,
therefore stand out in the crowd. However, if we never go through brokenness, we may demonstrate our own strength and
boast in our own special favor from God. We are in danger of stealing the glory which rightfully belongs to God. The real pow
and strength of the Life in God is the ressurrection power. If we never die to ourselves, we never experience ressurrection.
About two years after I was saved, my boss handed me a
Joyce Meyer teaching tape. This is the beginning of years of
my spiritual journey following her ministry. I grew up in an
abusive background, in a different way. As Joyce Meyer laid
down her life like an open book, demonstrating God's grace
and healing power in her life, I took the journey with her
and received much healing through her brokenness. I was a
baby and the only thing I did was drinking and eating and
crying. One time through my sobbing tears, the Lord laid in
my heart to pray for her. So my first intercessary prayer was
asking the Lord to take the emotional pain away from her.
Really I think I was only praying for myself.
If God desires truth in our inward parts (Psalm 51:6) and the
spiritual battle is about our hearts, then the true power of
the Holy Spirit is within, not without. Signs, wonders and
miracles are given to confirm the message of Gospel. They
are not the message.
Why do we cry out for miracles but do not see them in
America, but they are everywhere in Africa? Personally, I
don't believe they are having a revival. But if 80% of
Americans think we are saved, but have no change in hearts
and experience no transformation in life, we need to ask
ourselves if we met the True Holy Spirit Who is God. I think
every Christian, even those in Africa need to ask the same
question.
If Jesus came to do the will of the Father, Holy Spirit
certainly does not come to do the will of men. Our only
position before the Holy Spirit is to obey. Test the spirits
against the Word of God (1John 4:1).
Matthew 20:15-16 (NKJV)
15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own
things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ 16 So the
last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but
few chosen.”
Matthew 22:12-14 (NKJV)
12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here
without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot,
take him away, and[a] cast him into outer darkness; there
will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
The Lord sees the end from teh beginning. Now we re
empowered by the Holy Sprit. More grace has been poured
down on us because of the victory the Lord has given us
already. We have His life in us, we need to live it, which is
required of all of us not to receive grace in vain. Yes, we are
created and saved to do his works to bring His Kingdom to
earth.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that
not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest
anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand that we should walk in them.
Rise up and conquor the new spiritual heights. To those
much is given, much is required. Clefts: borkenness. Taking
off the grave clothe will be painful. Lily amonth the thorns
will be painful, and the fragrance of the Lord come from our
wounds as people harvest frankincense and myrr from
wounding the tree.
The secret place of the Most High is not a place of
tranquility, but a place of great spiritual battle as is
demonstrated in Psalm 91. Now is not the time to sit
around and have a good life, but the Lord is calling us to join
His army until we trample the enemy under our feet!
John 14:26-28 (NKJV)
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will
send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to
your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I
leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world
gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I
am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me,
you would rejoice because I said,[a] ‘I am going to the
Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
Shining His light and reflecting His glory.
Revelation 1:16
He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went
a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the
sun shining in its strength.
Matthew 6
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory
forever. Amen.[c]
Faith and love is our breastplate of righteousness.
Fox: known for being cunning and trickery. The deceiver,
the enemy in desgise of the angel of light.
Attacking against our confidence and faith in God, causing
worry, anxiety and doubt etc., whatever it takes to turn us
away from God and cause us disconnected from the vine,
which flows the Life in our hearts.
This Is the time that requires our faith and use of our will
power to make choices of life. When everything does not
make sense in our lives, the only way we can get through is
choosing to trust Him.
Right now our primary focus is still who the Lord is for me.
He truly satisfies our soul!
And we are content to live in His fortress, under His
protection.
We should be His co-laborers.
Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is
plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the
Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Of which we are away. Indeed our Lord "comes Leaping
upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills" (Psalm 2:8),
looking for each one of us, the lost sheep, the prodigal child.
Now at the Light of His face, we realize there is a shadow
between us, a wall separates us from the Lord. We cannot
go where He is going, and we cannot do what He calls us to
do. But instead of rising up to follow Him, we wait for the
shadow to somehow just go away.
How disappointing must it be to the Lord that we simply
want to stay in yesterday's light! But His mercy renews
everyday.
This is a prayer that will go unanswered. We are called to
follow the Lord. He will not be content neither can He rest
with us lying dormant in disobedience to Him, leaving us
once again in bondage.
But ultimatly, it is still our choice to obey, which is why
many are called, few are chosen.
Now the night comes and we feel the pain of
chasetisement. Because we want to simply enjoy the
feelings of His presence, He simply withdrew that feeling.
We have been carried on His shoulder. Now that He wants
us to learn to walk. We indeed love Him! Nothing in this
world can compare to our Lord!
We are hungry and thirsty for Him, yet we simply cannot
find Him where we are! When the pillar of clouds is lifted
up, we much follow.
Matthew 8:23-24 (NKJV)
23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the b
was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
Matthew 8:25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke
Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
Matthew 8:26 (NKJV)
26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little
faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea,
and there was a great calm.
Those the Lord positioned in His house to tend the flock.
Working diligently watching the Lord's house. The risk of a
strong watchman is becoming a strongman. The greatest
calling of a servant of God is of stewardship, leading the
flock to the Lord to hear His voice and follow Him. The best
'Christians' we can raise up in our own strength will be
lower than our own stature. But in the Lord there is no limit.
Reached out to me. Really out the the mercy knowing the
frailty in our spiritual youth, the Lord sends out helpers,
whose who are stronger and more mature than we are.
Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV)
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who
asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who
knocks it will be opened.
She asked people but seeking the Lord. This simple heart of
worship must be pleasing unto the Lord. People may have
offered her guidnace, but the Lord answered her. Praise
God only he satisfies our soul! His Word quenches the thirst
in our heart and His Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Helper and
Teacher!
Whatever guidance the watchmen of the city gave to her,
she did not get new Light or receive more freedom that
comes only from Truth that we learn. Worse, not only she
still try to hold unto Him for herself, but also in a possessive
way.
Although she has not turned from her old way, the Lord
sees the misery she is in without Him, in mercy He humbly
came down and followed her. Grace upon grace.
She took the Lord to the secret place of her world.
Matthew 10:37
He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy
of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is
not worthy of Me.
But the Lord's desire is for us is to walk where He walks and
go where He goes and that we reign and rule with Him,
dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
Wraps up another phase. Since we did not seem to have
grown in any spiritual knowledge and wisdom, what good
does it come out of this suffering? The Lord tested our
hearts and sees that there is indeed faith and love in our
hearts for Him. Therefore we may endure the next phase of
challenge or opportunity coming our way.
Song of Solomon 8:6-7 (NKJV)
6 Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;[a]
Its flames are flames of fire,
A most vehement flame.[b]
7 Many waters cannot quench love,
Nor can the floods drown it.
If a man would give for love
All the wealth of his house,
It would be utterly despised.
3 He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the LORD.
4 Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.
John 6:50-58 (NKJV)
50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may
eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down
from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and
the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life
of the world.”
52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How
can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless
you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have
no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has
eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh
is food indeed,[a] and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats
My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the
living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who
feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which
came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and
are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
Ephesians 5
1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in
love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an

Romans 14:11-13 (NKJV)
11 For it is written:
“ As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather
resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our

Psalm 45:10-15 (NKJV)
10 Listen, O daughter,
Consider and incline your ear;
Forget your own people also, and your father’s house;

Because He is your Lord, worship Him.

The rich among the people will seek your favor.
13 The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace;
Her clothing is woven with gold.

They shall enter the King’s palace.

Matthew 4:18-20 (NKJV)
18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers,

their nets and followed Him.
Luke 11:9-13 (NKJV)
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you
will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who
asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it
will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread[a] from any father among
you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give
him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he
offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV)
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the

John 3:29-31 (NKJV)
29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the

He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He who comes from

Exodus 33:19-20 (NKJV)
19 Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and
I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious
to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I

Psalm 34:7-9 (NKJV)

Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

There is no want to those who fear Him.
Hebrews 12:22-24 (NKJV)
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of

Hebrews 12
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud

John 21:15-17 (NKJV)
15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,
“Simon, son of Jonah,[a] do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[b] do
you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[c] do you

You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore

Her clothing is woven with gold.
14 She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors;
The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought

15 With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought;
They shall enter the King’s palace.
Luke 14:27-29 (NKJV)
27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot
be My disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower,

Psalm 84:10-11 (NKJV)
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD will give grace and glory;

Matthew 10:7-8 (NKJV)

Revelation 10:9
So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.”
And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach

Revelation 19:9-10 (NKJV)
9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to
the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are
the true sayings of God.” 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him.
But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow
servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus.
Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Isaiah 6
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a
throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the
temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with
two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with
two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said:
“ Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”
4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who
cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.
Psalm 42
1 As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?[b]
3 My tears have been my food day and night,
While they continually say to me,

Ecclesiastes 3:10-11 (NKJV)
10 I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are
to be occupied. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find
out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Jeremiah 32:17-19 (NKJV)
17 ‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the
earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing
too hard for You. 18 You show lovingkindness to thousands, and
repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children

of hosts. 19 You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your
eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone
according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.
Luke 10:41-42 (NKJV)

Matthew 17
1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother,
led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was
transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His
clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and
Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered
and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let
us[a] make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses,
and one for Elijah.”
Hebrews 12
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud
of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so
easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is
set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God.
1 Peter 4
1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us[a] in the flesh, arm
yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the
flesh has ceased from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest
of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
Luke 10:19-20 (NKJV)
19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and

1 Corinthians 1:22-25 (NKJV)
22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but
we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to
the Greeks[a] foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both
Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the
weakness of God is stronger than men.
Matthew 12:32-36 (NKJV)
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be

I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown,
and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was

26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy

Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]

2 Samuel 23:3-4 (NKJV)
3 The God of Israel said,
The Rock of Israel spoke to me:
‘He who rules over men must be just,
Ruling in the fear of God.

A morning without clouds,

1 Peter 4:7-11 (NKJV)
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and
watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things have fervent love
for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”[a] 9 Be
hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has
received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the
manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the
oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability
which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through

Genesis 3
1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field
which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has
God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be
opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
John 15
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every

Psalm 84

And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and

Luke 18:22

Psalm 127
1 Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.

To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.
1 Timothy 3:14-16 (NKJV)
14 These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you
shortly; 15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how
you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the
church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 16 And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God[a] was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.
Romans 15
1 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the

who reproached You fell on Me.”
Luke 11:9-13 (NKJV)
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you

you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give
him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he
offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
John 14:15-17 (NKJV)
15 “If you love Me, keep[a] My commandments. 16 And I will pray

The rich among the people will seek your favor.
John 17:14-19 (NKJV)
14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them
because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that
You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the
world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your
truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also
have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify
Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
1 John 2:4-6 (NKJV)
4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His
commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But
whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him.
By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in
Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
