Problem n°2: reliability of device
The RCD is a device extremely delicate. It uses a little differential
current to produce a mechanical force for the trip of the switch
It is very easy to compromise the proper running
Some causes of improper working order:
Dust
Humidity degree
Aggressive atmosphere
Sudden variation of room temperature
Vibration
Presence of electromagnetic field
For this reason the residual current devices are provided
with a button to make a periodic test
