All poems must be original work; this means they must be written BY YOU. Anyone
who hands in a poem written by someone else will not receive credit for that poem.
Anyone who hands in a poem by someone else without giving credit to that person has
committed plagiarism and will receive a ZERO for the entire project. This will count as
a test grade, and you will be graded on class participation each day.
You should use construction paper or some other kind of colored paper. Please bring
your own paper to class every day. This should be a neatly arranged poetry book when
you hand it in.
