On behalf of the Indianapolis POW/MIA Recognition Day Council we cordially invite your
establishment to participate as a vendor, for the 2010 National POW1MIA Recognition Day
program being held on Friday, September 17, 2010. This year’s theme is “They’re Not All Back
Home”. Please see the details below:
• The program will be held on the north steps of the Indiana War Memorial, 431 North Meridian
Street, Indianapolis, and will begin promptly at 12:00 noon. An ensemble from the Indiana
National Guard’s 38th Division Band will play a pre-ceremonial concert beginning at 11:30 a.m.
• Please ensure that your vendor booth is open and operational by 10:00 a.m. In the event of
inclement weather, the program will be held inside the Indiana War Memorial; however, your
reporting time will not change.
• Finally, the planning committee will have a dress rehearsal at the War Memorial on Wednesday,
September 15, 2010, at 12:00 noon. You are invited to attend this, as well, to review any details
of the program.
Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month at 10:00am at the American Red Cross.
