RNC Announces 2008 National Convention Committee Meetings RNC Summer Meetings The Republican National Committee (RNC) today announced the general schedule for the 2008 Convention Committee and Summer Meetings, which will take place Tuesday, August 26, through Friday, August 29, 2008, in Minneapolis, Minn. "I am excited for the commencement of the 2008 Convention Committee and RNC Summer Meetings, during which our Party will discuss our core values and principles and work toward establishing the rules that will endure throughout the next four years," RNC Chairman Robert M. "Mike" Duncan said. "This is an exciting time for the national convention delegates and RNC Members to come together and lay the ground work for the 2008 Republican National Convention."
