RECYCLED CRAFT PROJECT – AT HOME ASSIGNMENT
As we are studying “Waste and Our World” for Science, our class is
going to have a recycled craft exhibit.
The assignment is to make a craft at home, using materials that would be
recycled or reused and then bring it to school to put on display for other
students to see.
Here are a few examples of crafts that could be made:
Totem pole or a rocket made out of paper tubes
Sock puppets
Cars out of boxes, etc.
Caterpillars out of egg cartons
Binoculars from a pair of paper tubes
Pencil jars
Collages from old magazine pictures
Masks or Money Banks made out of Milk jugs
Wind chime
Picture Frame
Birdhouse
These are only suggestions…be creative and have fun with reusable
materials!
The assignment is due on Thursday October 20th. The assignment will be
marked according to its use of recycled material, neatness and an amount
for the time and effort used in completing the craft.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at the school at 526-
2392.
