Instructions
General
This Spreadsheet comes loaded with test data to help with your familiarity.
Once you are familiar with the layout, there are two macros to clear down the data ready for the new meeting.
The first macro is found in the 'Event Details' spreadsheet. Macro Button1('Clear Competitors Names') will
clear down the names from the eight teamsheets.
The second macro is found in the 'Results Entry' spreadsheets. Clicking on the button 'Clear Results Table'-
will clear down the previous meetings results. It is recommended that you make a Back-Up copy prior to
deleting the data.
Event Details
The first spreadsheet shows details of the Athletic Meeting. Changing the Division number updates all the
club details. The details are taken from the 'Club Details' spreadsheet. The field highlighted in 'Green' can
be amended as required.
To amend or delete the Club Names for clubs promoted or relegated see 'Club Details' spreadsheet. After
any of the Club names are changed, click on the Macro Button 1 'Change Worksheet Club Names'. This
will run the Macro which will change the name on each of the Eight Team Spreadsheet.
To clear the Competitors Names from the 'Eight Teamsheets', click on the second macro button 'Clear
Competitors Names'
Timetable
This spreadsheet shows the 'League Programme'. Each event has been given a unique 'Event Number.'
which puts the events in time order. These fields can be amended for any changes at the beginning of the
season. Also ensure that 'Non Scoring Events (NS) are shown as separate events in the Programme and
identified with 'NS' in column G.
The Timetable can be printed off at anytime.
Team Declaration Sheet
This spreadsheet is a blank Declaration Sheet for both Male and Female competitors. If any amendments
are made to the 'Timetable' , please ensure that this spreadsheet is updated by changing the appropriate
'Event Number' (if required). Ideally, the Team Declaration Sheets should be Emailed to the Results
Team 2 Days before the event.
Eight Team Sheets
There are Eight individual Team Sheets, one for each Club
Enter the name of the 'A' and 'B'. competitor in the green section against each event. There is a section for
'Male' competitors followed by a 'Female' one below. Also enter the names of competitors in the relay teams.
U11 Non Scoring - Each athlete should wear a unique number (not letter). Remember to enter the number
against the competitors name.
Results Entry
Enter all Events (including U11 Scoring & U11 Relay NS)
Enter the Event number In the 'green' box (cell B4) to bring up details of the event. In the 'blue area' you will
see all the competitors names which have been taken from the Teamsheets.
Heart of England League
Instructions
To enter the Result for the first competitor, enter the Club letter into the first green box,(i.e. 'C' for
Bromsgrove ). For the 'B' race, enter 'CC' which will identify the 'B' runner. A Table of the Club letters is
shown at the left of the spreadsheet.
Note: if the B Competitor does the best throw/ jump/ time, you can enter the double letter (i.e.'CC') in Event
A and single letter ('C') in the Event B. This will select the right name from the teamsheet.
Next move right, and enter the time or distance ( i.e. '2.71' metres or '2.12.13' mins.) If a competitor did
not finish, enter 'DNF' in the time box.
Move down and enter the second competitor results. Move to next column right and enter the time/
distance.
Once all the results for Event A have been completed, repeat the same for Event B. Entering the single or
double letter as appropriate (i.e. "C" or "CC").
Once all the results have been entered, click on the button "Save Data". If you wish to Amend this data at a
later stage, enter the Event No. and click on the "Edit Data" button and the results are restored.
To manually adjust the points for equal scores i.e joint 2nd.- see Results by Age Group.
Results by Age Group
This spreadsheet is automatically updated from the previous sheet. This sheet can be printed off at anytime to
get the latest points position.
In the points section on the right, a manual adjustment can be made if points need to be shared. In the green
highlighted area above the points, enter for example, '-0.5' to take off half a point from one team and add
'0.5' to the another team.
Match Position
This spreadsheet gives a summary of the 'Match Position' at any point in time. This is useful for the
announcer who can read the information from the screen or print it off at any time.
Results Summary
This spreadsheet automatically calculates the Points and Position for each Age Group, and includes points
added for providing Officials.
Results by Club
Enter a Club Letter in the Green Box (Cell B3). Enter each Club Letter in turn and it will produce the results for
each Club. Can be printed off anytime.
Adjustment for Officials
2 points per Official can be added up to a maximum of 10 for each Age Group i.e. U13Girls,U15Girls,
Combined Ladies, U13Boys,U15Boys and U17men.
Club Details by Division
To amend or delete the Club Names in each Division for clubs promoted or relegated, enter the details here.
Competitor Change Form

Instructions
This spreadsheet is a blank 'Change Form' and issued to Team Manager on the day of the event. Ideally,
the Team Declaration Sheets should be Emailed to the Results Team 2 Days before the event. If any
amendments are made to the 'Team Sheet' on the day, the Team Manager should use this sheet to notify
changes.
Track Lane Draw
This Spreadsheet is for the assistance of the Starter. It produces a printed list of randomly selected clubs over
the 8 lanes of the track. The random sequence can be changed by entering 1 to 8 in the yellow highlighted
area.
Field Jumps and Field Throws and Timekeepers Slip
These three spread sheets are optional but can be used for printing 'Field Event Cards'. Enter the 'Event
Number' from the list on the left onto the left top of the 'card' and the events details are updated. Also
the clubs order is different for each event as they are randomly drawn from ' Lane Draw' spread sheet.
The Timekeepers recording slip can also be printed off as required.
