Strawberry Pie
Strawberry filling
1 box vanilla Cook & Serve Pudding mix
1 box strawberry Jello
1½ c. water
1 9” baked pie crust or graham cracker crust
1 qt. fresh strawberries
Whipped cream for garnish
Combine pudding mix and jello in heavy saucepan. Add water, dissolve and cook over
medium heat until it begins to boil and thicken. Chill until slightly thickened and cool
enough to prevent cooking strawberries.
Layer half of the strawberries on pie crust. Pour 1/3 of jello mixture on top of the first
layer of strawberries. Place remaining strawberries on top of bottom jello mixture.
Slowly pour remaining jello pudding mixture on top strawberries. Chill thoroughly, about
4 hours. Serve with whipped cream
(For peach pie, substitute peach Jello and peaches [about 3 c. drained, if canned peaches
are used] for strawberry Jello and strawberries.)
