2009 Annual Trials Dinner - 28th November 2009
The Annual Dinner & presentation night at the Riverfront Motel and Villas was attended by nearly 50 riders
and partners
There was a bit of entertainment during the night with Peter Bayles & Louis Stevens issuing fines for Un-
Trials-Like deeds during the year. Here are some of them – there were lots more – all very funny.
Eg - Dean Medwin for completely covering his bike with tape every trial
- Chris Gillespie for shouting at himself in a section
- Colin Woodberry & Nigel Munday for getting lost on the way to a trial.
- Peter Bayles for thinking up this idea of fining people for Un-Trials-Like deeds

As you will see the C Grade championship was very close with Damien Langworthy & Michael Bayles tied at
the end of the year. The result in C Grade went down to the number of wins during the year.
2009 has been another successful year for the TMTC. We have run 9 championship events plus the 2 day
Dilston Tas Title. We have increased our membership again this year. Larger numbers of us are going to
interstate trials – and doing quite well too. Our Trials demonstrations are creating quite a bit of interest at the
local shows.
We are up to date with technology - Our results are computerized and printed at the trial – all powered by our
new generator. Our observers who did a fantastic job again this year all have 2way radios to keep in touch with
the tent.
2010 is shaping up to be just as good if not better. I have recently been advised that the club has been allocated
$1200 from the Telstra Kids Foundation to bring a coach over from the mainland to provide skills training for
the under 18 members of TMTC.

Rules (Taken off the 2009 calendar)
- There were 9 TMTC 2009 Championship Trials – Results from all staged Championship rounds less the
two lowest results, will be counted towards a riders TMTC Championship results.
- A rider needs to compete in a minimum of 3 rounds, before they are included in the TMTC Championship
results. Championship points will be allocated to the remaining eligible riders in their finishing order. Eg 20,
17,15,13,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
