MDUSD Computer Purchasing Options

							         MDUSD PC Computer Purchasing Options

 There is one primary PC computer model, with two standard options, for
 purchase in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District (see below). Microsoft Office
 must be included on the same purchase requisition.

 District Standard PC Computer

 All options include: (note: color will be black and silver for the computer and the monitor)

 What to put on the purchase requisition: Everything in bold below for the option you choose.
      For vendor, use “HP Public Sector” (vendor # 032064) in IFAS. Note: please put the intended destination
      for the computer(s) in the notes section in IFAS. This will speed up delivery.


       Standard “Micro-Tower” Option: These computers are configured to sit upright and are usually used on
       the floor, though they could fit on a desk. Dimensions (H x W x D) are 14.9 x 7.0 x 16.9 in.

               Order one license for each computer. This includes Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,
               Access and Publisher.




       “Small Form Factor” Option: These are slightly smaller computers with all of the same standard
       components as the larger ones. Recommended for situations where space is an issue or if you wish to
       have it on a desk and where we are sure that we will not have to add any additional cards or drives: e.g.
       student labs. Dimensions (H x W x D) are 4.5 x 15.5 x 13.5 in.

       LCD Flat Panel Monitors

              HP L1750 17" Analog/Digital Flat Panel TFT Monitor, part #GF904AA#ABA, $185.00
              HP L1950 19” Analog/Digital Flat Panel TFT Monitor, part #GG458AA#ABA, $245.00

               These monitors are flat screen LCD monitors. They will take up much less space and are easier to
               read than traditional monitors. Each comes with a 3-year warranty.


       Note: You must also include the state-mandated E-Waste fee of $8 as a separate item for each monitor
       ordered.


Information About Microsoft Office Software

       You will be purchasing licenses only. TIS will provide each site with a copy of the installation CD upon
       request.
