* 2 pounds ground pork * 1 Fuji apple - peeled, cored and shredded or chopped * 1 sweet onion(I prefer vadalia), finely chopped * 2-4 good sized cloves of garlic(depends on personal taste really), minced * 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce * 1 egg * 1 can sliced pineapple, drained Set your grill to pre-heat on medium- high. In a large bowl, mix your pork, apple, onion, garlic, teriyaki and egg together. If at this point it seems a bit dry add just a little of the juice from your can of sliced pineapple. Form the meat mixture into 8 patties that are roughly the same size. You should lightly oil the grates of your grill/griddle at this point and place the pork burgers on for about 10 minutes till they're just about well done. For the last few moments feel free to add the pineapple to the grill as well and let it cook as well(unless you prefer it uncooked) Serve the burgers on buns topped with the pineapple slices.
