Conflict Resolution Skit
Design a skit within your small group that addresses one of the
following types of conflict:
a. Verbal harassment, such as name-calling regarding a physical
attribute (size, weight, wearing glasses) or taunting about a
particular behavior (doesn’t like sports or the perceived
“teacher’s pet”)
b. Gossip, such as spreading rumors about a person
c. Exclusion from a desirable party, group, or activity
d. Peer pressure, being pressured by a person or group to
participate in an undesirable act.
You should resolve your conflict using the Conflict Resolution Skills (p.
30) or Refusal Skills (Figure 2.2 on p. 30) that are mentioned in your
book in Chapter 2, Lesson 1 -
You are allowed to bring in props, or use things that will contribute to
the success of your skit.

- Put yourself in a group to ensure success.
1. Decide the type of conflict your group is going to perform.
2. Explain the conflict.
3. Decide what part everyone is going to play
4. Write your skit
5. Practice, refine, practice, refine, make adjustments if needed as
you are practicing.
6. Perform your skit on the due date.
