Coach,
We would like to thank you in advance for deciding to participate in the 3rd
Annual Tournament of Champions. This tournament will be held in the
Cleveland, Ohio on March 11 – 13, 2011 and will feature some of the best 9U –
15U talent in the country. We are excited about hosting the event, and look
forward to your team’s/organization’s participation. Disclosed within this letter
are some pertinent details about the tournament.
Tournament Format
The tournament will commence with Pool Play but feature two Championship
Brackets - Platinum and Silver. The top two teams in each pool will advance to
the Platinum Bracket and the bottom 1 or 2 team(s) – depending on number of
teams in pool - will advance to the Silver Bracket (Championship games will be
single elimination). Taking this approach provides each team with an
opportunity to vie for a Championship.
Talent
Some of the most successful AAU programs in the country will be participating.
Please see the attached flyer for details. Currently, the existing field consists
of 22 different AAU programs representing ten different states.
