The table 3.15 depicts total no. of REITs IPO’s issued by each country in Asia. Japan was the first country in Asia to come up with an IPO in 1990 and one of the successful countries in Asia. It had highest no. of IPO compare to other countries. Singapore REITs market developed recently in 2002 and had around 16 listed companies till now which is followed by Malaysia and Thailand with around 15 and 14 listed companies respectively.
