General Comments
• The Project was on hold a couple of days to allow our CEO, Mr. Jackson, time to review the site mock-ups and to
address his concerns and suggested revisions.
• Our Graphic Design Team led by Mr. Ted Adams did an outstanding job with adjusting the layout to address
issues Mr. Jackson expressed.
• Attached is the site layout that Mr. Jackson has approved. We had to put the coding of the site on hold because
the revisions being requested impacted building the site in Joomla. However, now that the layout has been approved we
can move forward with coding the site.
• Mr. Jackson does have one additional concern that I will consult with the Coding Team to see if we can address
with coding. He would like to see the video player enlarged. I am going to see if the Coding Team can implement the
Video player in an “ajax” window that will automatically enlarge when you hover over it on the Homepage. If this cannot
be done then we will go back to the Graphic Design Team as part of Phase II and re-work the design of the site to
accommodate a larger video player on the homepage. This does not have a major impact because there is a chance
that the Who’s Who Business/Editorial Team may not have a video ready to load to the site by the time we launch for
Phase I.
• The Who’s Who Business/Editorial team is also continuing to work on gathering, creating, and/or revising the
necessary content to load to the site. We are working through the Inventory of Content Items Task List item by item.
• The goal is to have all the files/information needed for the Homepage by 12/31/2009. We may have to actually
push this back a couple of days because of the delay with getting final approval from Hiram.
• The Coding Team will open up site security to allow us to begin loading the content as soon as the major
development is complete which could be anywhere between 12/31 and 01/4/2010.
Next Steps
Coding Team will continue coding/development of site and content management system.
The Who’s Who Business/Editorial Team will provide (via FTP) S. White more content items outlined
in the Inventory of Content Items document.
S. White will begin loading these content items into the test site.
S. White will make preparations with Who’s Who Business/Editorial Team for training and testing.
